Good...For A While
I used this in my office while working and it definitely did its job. It is soft, long and I love the ease of use. The one con though is the fact that now only the bottom part of the blanket works and it has only been 10 months. I definitely did not get my money's worth.

Defective product
First one I bought didn't work on arrival. The return process was very smooth and easy. Target promptly sent me a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement was ALSO defective on arrival.

The plaid is beautiful and the fabric is wondefully soft but it picked right out of the bag! I could be okay if the pick was the same color as the navy fabric but NOPE, it was a white thread olyester thread that picked and it is really obvious. It heats well but seems too delicate.

Do not buy - third party return reselling
The blanket arrived in a large zip up plastic bag. The blanket was clearly a return that was being resold. I should have paid attention that this was a third party sale. After attempting to use, it was clear only a few of the coils actually heated. Shame on target for using this vendor! Will be returning.

Heats well, cord is a problem
Turns up nice and toasty. The fabric is very microfiber if that's what you like (I don't). My biggest complaint is the cord. The cord is centered on one short side and very heavy. You must position it at your feet to cover your body, which is uncomfortable. It's right in the middle of your feet. The cord to the controller is short so you cannot reach the controller without getting up to reach it. The thin fabric causes the entire blanket to pull and twist up. The lights from the controller are so bright they light up the entire room. The lights flash when the timer is up. It's like strobe light in your bedroom in the middle of the night. I'm glad for a cozy blanket but I would not purchase this one again.

The heated blanket takes the chill away whether on the couch or even in bed. It has different temperature settings. I keep it set on the lowest setting and it's perfect for me. I will be nice and warm this winter.

And the heat is pleasantly tolerable at maximum (which is my preference). I would recommend this to anyone that likes to stay cozy in the winter (or if you don't have control of the temperature in your house).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the fall and winter months coming i love having a warm blanket on me when i am watching TV and the SUNBEAM HEATED THROW is perfect for this! This throw is so soft and so easy to use. Just plug it in and use the control to adjust the amount that you want. There are 4 settings and an auto off feature that is designed for conservation of energy by automatically turning off the throw after 4 hours of continuous use. The cord is easy to disconnect to wash this blanket and it turned out beautiful. This throw is so cozy and nice!
