Q: What would cause the power button area to blink off and on? I have to unplug it to get it to stop. I’ve only had the throw for 4 days, so maybe I got a defective one?
A: Mines trash done quit working also
submitted bySeals - 7 months agoA: Got mine for Christmas and loved it but I’m sad that it doesn’t work anymore. The power button keeps flashing and I have tried everything!
submitted bycrzybee - 8 months agoA: I have had mine for a week and am having the same issue. The lights keep blinking. It was so good before this! Ugh!
submitted byCourtnsession - 9 months agoA: I had the same problem. I fixed mine by unplugging the cord from the wall outlet FIRST, connecting the blanket connector BEFORE plugging it back in, and thern plugging it into the wall outlet.
submitted byMominMaine - 9 months agoA: This happened to mine also after less than a week of having it.

Q: Blinking on and off, all 4 lights blink 1,2,3,4 then it will blink 2 and 4. Why is this happening? Received as a gift, only had a few days now. I love this but why is it freaking out?
A: I had the same problem. I fixed mine by unplugging the cord from the wall outlet FIRST, connecting the blanket connector BEFORE plugging it back in, and thern plugging it into the wall outlet.

Q: Does anyone know why all of a sudden it shut off and the second and fourth buttons on the power box are blinking? I’ve had it less than a week. Yesterday I couldn’t even get it to turn on.
A: Hi, same issue. I fixed mine by connecting the blanket connector first, before plugging into the wall outlet. I recall the instructions mentioning this but didn't think much of it until now.
submitted bySteve31 - 10 months agoA: Hi hparks614 sorry, you may have done this already, but please disconnect and reconnect at the blanket connector. If this doesn't help please get in touch with us at productsupport@chfindustries.com

Q: DOES IT HAVE TO BE PLUGGED IN TO BE USED?
A: There are camping heated blankets that do NOT need to be plugged in and the pictures make it seem like it is a portable heated blanket so it is actually a perfectly good question whether or not it needs to be plugged in. The camping heated blankets are much more expensive but since the reviews say this one stops working if you clean it, then I think I’d rather spend on one that I can use both in the house or if I go out for a game. I’m glad the question was asked.
submitted byGatita - 10 months agoA: Hi Juiice, Yes the product plugs into any standard outlet.

Q: I received this blanket a a gift. When I turn it off for some reason a few hours later it will be on. No one is home and the controller is sitting on top of the blanket. Is there a setting that the blanket turns on by itself?
A: Hi Jelly, this would be very unusual, and nearly impossible! Is the blanket plugged into a switch that you are also using to power on and off a light in the same room. Please reach out to us at productsupport@chfindustries.com so we can help you.

Q: Is 1 or 4 the hottest setting for the buttons?
A: Hi Kris, heat increases as number goes up, so 4 would be the warmest setting.
