    Full of dye that keeps bleeding

    Bought the black ones and they bleed dye even after many washes. Bought them because they were organic cotton but had to stop using them on baby’s sensitive skin once I saw just how mush the water turned dark with the dye after soaking them.

    Great Washcloth

    I was prepared to hate this. I wondered how it could possibly work well when it didn't have any Terry finish to it and it was smooth and it felt thin. this has to be the best washcloth I've ever had! they call it gauze but it's more than that. it is like a very soft muslin feel with a gauze texture. it's 100% cotton so it absorbs the water just like a paper towel would and soaks it right up. it actually makes your face Feel clean when you're done washing with it which is a nice change from a Terry washcloth which sometimes makes you feel ickier than when you started. the hemming and stitching is really good around all sides and they give you a loop and the one corner to hang from to allow it to dry easily with a very minimum of fussing with it. I picked the earthy colors and they're really great. now due to the type of material this is and the 100% cotton you're going to need to follow the instructions exactly as they have them. do not wash them like you think you want to wash them in extra hot water and then

    Adore! Now just make hand and bath towels to go with them!

    I have been transitioning away from thick terry cloth bath towels in recent years but I hadn’t found a good alternative to terry washcloths… until now! I like how soft these gauze washcloths are but I LOVE how quickly they dry! I would kilI to have hand towels and bath towels (esp. for my hair!) that dried so quickly after use. I would really like to see another darker, single-color alternative to the black option. I find these washcloths lather nicely and wash well. For those who have issues with absorbency, remember that fabric softener and dryer sheets shouldn’t be used when laundering towels for that reason.
