I will say the fan is beautiful but that is about all I like about it. The fan is extremely out of balance so I have yet to find a good balance for the blades. The Mika and another brand my wife bought are perfectly balanced straight out of the box. Also, the remote for the fan, a built in remote, is not intuitive at all. You can not easily change the speed from what setting to the other as there is no indication of how far you're slowing down the fan when pressing the buttons. With the Mika we own which is still remote based, the remote has clear indications of when your selection a certain speed. For the price of this fan, you can find MUCH better options. I am highly disappointed in the functionality.

I purchased two of these fans last week, and installed the first yesterday. Now that I have installed the first fan, I love the look and operation of the fan. The fan is quiet, has multiple speeds, the light is dimmable and the wall switch is an addition i required. I have two criticisms. First, the fan blades install from the bottom, but it is extremely difficult to line the screw holes up with the openings in the bottom of the fan. In the end, I managed to get one screw in each and then lifted up slightly on the blade to align the other screw holes. I've never had this much trouble with a ceiling fan before. My second criticism is of the SimpleConnect instructions for adding this fan to HomeKit. The process in the Hunter SimpleConnect app simply did not work for me, Following at least 2 hours of trying, I discovered how to reset the fan's wi-fi on the internet. After turning the fan off, on and then pressing the fan up/down buttons until I heard a beep, I then joined the new wi-fi network the fan created. From there I went directly into Apple Home, and added the fan. These instructions were not in the paper manual included with the fan, nor were they in the app. I've installed numerous HomeKit devices over the past several years, and this was by far the hardest and most frustrating. And this could have been prevented with better documentation.

It's a nice fan but it's hard to rationalize that it cost more than 5 times the price of the Hunter Aerodyne fans that I purchased for my bedrooms.

Air flow and Cooling at low speed is great. The fan looks great, and once I got it connected to the app, I have great control of both fan and light levels. The wall remote could use improvement as you don’t know what setting you have for lights or the fan.
I'd buy these again in a heartbeat!

I've had my Hunter Phenomenon fans for almost a month and I have to say I am very happy with my purchase. I bought two of these to replace chandeliers in my large (740 sq ft) living room. They do an excellent job and normally run on low speed, just enough to keep the air moving, although I could crank them up and blow papers off the end tables, no problem. The fans arrived without damage, thanks to the excellent packaging by Hunter. I installed these myself in one day using the provided brackets and long stems for 9 foot ceilings. I was very impressed with the overall quality and excellent instructions provided. I did encounter one self-inflicted problem. I powered up the circuit to test the fans before I installed the blades and they operated erratically. After considerable consternation, I read a note that was provided with the fans warning that the fans would not operate properly without the blades installed. I then installed the blades and the fans operated perfectly, go figure. I made a mental note to read all provided instructions in the future (yeah, right). I was concerned about some of the reviews I had read regarding problems with the fan controls and wireless integration. I am happy to report that I experienced no such problems. The wall switches provided worked as expected and I had absolutely no issues with the Hunter app for iOS, the Apple Home app recognized the fans immediately and worked flawlessly from the get-go. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my new fans. They look amazing and instantly brought my 40+ year old living room into the the 21st century. I'd definitely buy these again in a heartbeat!

We bought and installed yesterday. My husband has never installed any other ceiling fan. It took hours, but he replaced our 18 year old Hunter fan with a new Hunter fan. For set-up, one fan blade arrived with a little chip in it and one screw wasn't made right, so he can't use it. Not deal breakers, but we paid A LOT for things to not be perfect. We paid extra only for the Smart Fan features. Overall, if you are like us and only paying for the SMART Fan features, you better really WANT it, otherwise, it isn't worth it. The Google set up was a pain. I cussed more setting up the app than he did with the install. Still, I trusted the process. It all worked out. If something is stuck and not working, I recommend opening the Google Home app and trying to link from there, then going back to the Hunter app. I knocked down 1 star because the light is like a spotlight. It doesn't fill the entire room. Now, I'm thrilled that it is an enclosed light feature (hopefully less dusting) BUT I still need really bright lights. We replaced the bulbs with our old Google bulbs. It doesn't get brighter, but we were able to make it more warm light. FOr the price, I don't think this is a great deal.

Great fan. Looks great. Blows hard. Controls suck. I don't have room for the wall controls, but it says that it can be controlled by the app. The app will not connect to the fan no matter how many times I try. I've tried all of the online troubleshooting stuff, but it doesn't work. I guess I'll have to buy a remote.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was easy to install and now use. I love how much lighter and cooling it gives off inside my room where I have it up. The blade on it is so long but it just gives it more air to circulate around the room. I love it all in all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing fan and product in general. Not only does it dim but having the ability to voice control it out of the box makes it the perfect device for a smart home. Even if not, still a great fan. Wonderful design, easy installation, plenty of light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hunter Phenomenon 60 is a great looking fan that pushes a lot of air! After installing quite a few larger fans in the past, I am usually disappointed by the volume of air they put out. However, this is not the case with the Phenomenon 60. You will not have an issue with the amount air it pushes out. The two LED light bulbs also do their job by putting out plenty of light when on high and can bet set to dimming mode for easy adjustment. The white finish with the bleached fan blades offer a really good look. The fan was well packaged with additional down rods and extra hardware depending on your configuration. Hanging the fan was simple with the included documentation and the hardware bags are coded by shapes so it is very easy to locate what is needed in each step. The fan blades were actually one of the easier blade sets I have installed on a fan. They slide through a slot in the side of the motor to help stabilize them while installing three screws per blade. A quick swap of the regular light switch with the included hunter wall control and your basic light switch is now a smart switch with a lot of bells and whistles. The smart home connectivity or SIMPLEconnect configuration is where it gets tricky. If you don't have a dedicated 2.4Ghz network (Google Wifi in my case), you may not be able to connect without reaching out to support. Luckily, I had an additional wireless router available I could setup a 2.4Ghz network on to connect to the fan. This is where most homeowners are going to get frustrated or have trouble. However, once connected, you can't beat the ease of use via the SIMPLEconnect application. I can control the fan remotely or via the switch when walking by. Once connected, you should be able to add to your smart home applications with ease as well. Overall, the Phenomenon 60 is a great fan just by the amount of air it puts out. Add in the benefits of the wall control and the SIMPLEconnect functionality and you won't be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Dad and I worked together to install the Hunter Phenomenon Ceiling Fan in my daughter's medium sized bedroom. The installation is a 2-person job and is higher on the complexity scale than a simple, small ceiling fan. It is heavy, so you will want to make sure that your mounting bracket can support that weight. The second person comes in handy when you try to lift the fan into place while on a ladder. We had two wall switches and this fan only uses one, so we ordered and installed a new faceplate. Once it is running, the fan and lights do their jobs quite well. The fan is quiet and creates a serious amount of airflow at higher speeds with those 7 long blades. It surprisingly fits well in a 15 x 15 ft. bedroom. The light dimming feature works very well and comes in handy for a bedroom in the mornings/evenings. The fan is all white and should mesh nicely with any decorative style going on in your home. Overall I recommend this ceiling fan for being another quality Hunter product that moves a lot of air, quietly. All of our suggested improvements have nothing to do with the ceiling fan and more to do with the installation instructions. There are some key down rod instructions on page 10 that would have been nice to know when we were reading the down rod installation section on page 4. The remote function guide has a watermark of the control panel that makes the guide difficult to read in certain lighting conditions. I would get this ceiling fan again, but next time I will hire a professional to install it while I take my Dad out for lunch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot recommend this ceiling fan enough! Blades are bigger than your standard ceiling fan and really help cool down the room. Light is bright and you can control the fan remotely which is very convenient. Really great quality, I can tell it will last a long time. You won’t regret purchasing this, it’s the best ceiling fan I’ve ever owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hunter - Phenomenon with LED Light 60 Inch fan is a beautiful ceiling fan that cools the entire room effortlessly! It has a wall controller and wall plate included. I did have to get another p,ate to use on my wall to accommodate my needs. Easy enough to do. I love that the fan and light can be adjusted to my needs by pressing the up/down arrows in increments. The fan does have an app to change the fan and light but as much as I tried I could not get it to work or more importantly to finalize the last step. The dreaded unending circle of not happening. I'm not going to take a star off because the app can be improved. I can't wait to show off and recommend the Hunter - Phenomenon with LED Light 60 Inch fan to everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Selecting the Hunter Phenomenon 60" white LED fan for our cabin great room was a great decision. The hardest part was getting a scaffold set-up to make installation safe and easier. The ceiling of the great room is painted wood and this fan looks stylish with a nice contrast against the wood. The included LED bulbs are an added bonus... I didn't have to shop around to find the correct bulb. The wall control is user friendly. Once we got the fan held up to position we decided to select standard mounting but it was nice to know that 3 options were available. Once in use, the blades do not wobble and are relatively quiet. We've used it here in northern NY during the winter and can't wait to reverse for summer use. Beautiful product!

I received this fan after the first one I purchased had defective blade irons. This fan is very big and it seems to have a lot of power, that I'm happy with. The wall switch works great and looks very sleek. The installation seemed to go smoothly and the fan itself looks great. What I have a problem with is the smart feature. I have yet to be able to connect it with Alexa, which is one of the two reasons why I purchased this fan. I will be contacting customer service about it but I shouldn't have to. I have many smart devices in my home, including a ceiling fan from a different company and had never had an issue with integration. Please Hunter - FIX THIS!
