I've had this fan for less than a week and it is already making a horrible ticking noise that drives me crazy. it shakes like crazy and sounds like a helicopter when I have it on the floor because it's vibrating so bad. The vibrations also make it move around even when the thing is on low, the quality of it is just so bad, I've bought other fans from the same brand before and they were both way better quality and lasted a long time before the annoying ticking started.

My only hesitation is the fact that I remeber paying $10 for these fans, which blew better air with the bigger blades. The plus is that it is black. When any white box fan gets dirty instead of cleaning it, I give it away or toss it. Maybe now, seeing the price increase; I will clean it and keep it.

I'm a fan of this fan!
I like that this fan got me through the worst of summer with just the windows cracked. I picked mine up in the store. Some people are complaining that the fan doesn't stand on its own are not using the feet that comes in the box. You have to snap the plastic piece from the box in two and slide it into the bottom of the fan. I have had no issues with it and let it run all day and night.

Cheaply Made
By far the cheapest box fan ever made. Plastic is so light that it cannot stand on its own on hardwood or laminate floors or it'll fall over. I am forced to place it on top of my rug. If you use the higher speed option, it'll shake and slide across the floor. I only purchased this because of a gift card. Going somewhere else and pay for better quality.
