Love this lamp. It stand a little taller than your average floor lamp which is what we were looking for. We have 12 foot ceilings and most lamps look too small. The shade is oval instead of round so it's unique and it is also a little larger than your average shade. That is also great for a large room. It's sleek and modern yet it can work with a traditional or modern cottage room.

The first lamp we ordered we had to send back because the holes on the base did not align and there was absolutely no way to assemble the lamp. We returned & ordered a second time...we had the same problem. The holes in the base did not align and it was near impossible to stick the long poles into the base. We ended up having to use a screwdriver to alter the holes. I wanted to send the lamp back again because I do not like to purchase items that require difficulty during assembly but my father worked his magic to assemble this lamp. Needless to say I would never order the lamp due to the assembly and lack of correct design

The lamp is a pain to put together and it does not come with bulbs which is NBD. However, the lamp seems to lean and just looks like it belongs in a hotel room. I do love how it puts out so much light into my office though!
