This bookshelf is perfect for my daughters Lego collection! We’re very excited to get it all rearranged!

Easy to assemble, functional and attractive. We needed a spacious, solid wood bookshelf that wouldn’t overwhelm our daughter’s small bedroom, and this fit the bill. Has an open, airy look and yet holds a lot. Sturdy enough that it doesn’t need the wall anchors (although if you have little ones, you should anchor it). Love that it’s real wood. Excellent price too. Happy with our purchase!

I put furniture together all the time, but this was the hardest shelf I've ever built. Instead of using practical screws, I had to drill through the wood with a Allen key, by hand. It was missing one screw, and it's wobbly and weak.

I like the look and the build quality for the price. However, it has a terrible chemical smell. I left it in our well-ventilated garage for several days after putting it together. I thought the smell was gone, and I installed it in my 8 year olds bedroom. Soon after, I could smell it in the hallway outside her bedroom. I’m concerned about what impacts the VOCs are having on her health. Considering taking it out of her bedroom, but I can’t return it without the packaging. Very disappointed.

Very dissatisfied with the color, which was completely misleading at the pictures. Was said brown but arrived as red wood!

Didn’t like putting it together

Is it me or the bookcase? It doesn't matter how many times I adjust the screws, the right side screws are a struggle to go in all the way, in order to add the covers. It comes with safety brackets for the wall, but I don't need those, trying to understand why the bookcase remains to lean and not stand straight. Does it require wall attachment to stand straight. I'm very frustrated, love the bookcase, trying not to damage it during my struggle to assemble. Please help.

Love the look but one of the shelf cracked about 4 inches after putting it all together, I was told I could return it but it had been such a challenge for me to put together ! I didn't want the hassle of taking it apart. I wish that you could of just sent me a replacement shelf.

This shelf is too wobbly, unsafe to use for anything.

Came early, was simple to put together and looks good. The instructions don’t tell you that you need a Phillips head screwdriver but all the rest was provided. The two I ordered look good together. I also appreciated that safety hooks were included.

Love it! Easy to put together, nice color, the depth and height of the shelves is generous, and the shelf is tall. Makes me happy!

Not happy with this purchase. While it seems to be solid wood, it is very, very wobbly. I have purchased other hard wood book cases at this price point at Target and elsewhere and none were wobbly like this one. As a matter of fact, the others are quite sturdy without needing any reinforcements. An L bracket was included with this bookcase, but because of the molding at the bottom of the wall, I could not get the bookcase flush with the L bracket/wall. Used a chain to attach to wall but it still wobbles!!

Easy to put together. Okay quality for the price. A little unbalanced but that’s somewhat expected given the cheaper price. Will definitely work as intended.

Nice looking, solid, great value

I love it! Real wood (not particleboard) and it looks beautiful in my kitchen. It is a lovely new home for my cookbooks and decor.

The bookshelf was easy to assemble and the shelves are a nice solid wood. It looks really great in our living room. The mantle shelf at the top is a nice addition to add decor to.

Sturdy bookcase, good value. Fit in nicely with my place. Can be a little difficult to start assembly but once you get one side attached, the rest is straightforward.

Love my new shelf’s. Awesome for the money

We purchased three of these. It is real wood but very light. You have to be a little careful tightening screws (I had one easily strip and one cause a fixable crack from a slight misalignment). Shelves feel sturdy and definitely better quality than particle board bookcases. Design and dark finish are basically as pictured.

Could not be more happy with this shelf. Is pretty, sturdy and exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint is that none of the components are labeled with their ‘letter’ sticker, so it made it a touch harder to put together. But, between my husband and I, we had it completely together within 25 minutes or so.
