Beautiful curtains but not blackout or noise cance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Eclipse Allira Velvet Room Darkening Grommet Noise Reduction Curtains look amazing there's no denying that. The velvet has a luxe, soft feel and adds a touch of drama to the room in the best way. They hang nicely, and the grommets make them super easy to install, so I give them an A+ for style. That being said, they don’t block out as much light as I expected from something labeled “room darkening.” It’s more of a strong dimming effect and pretty far from a full blackout. They also cut down a little bit on outside noise but I wouldn't say it’s a night-and-day difference. Overall, these curtains are beautiful and definitely upgrade the space, but if you're buying them mainly for blackout reasons or serious noise reduction, then you may want to look for something else.

Super soft and cute
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They're super cute curtains I love them there quite a bit to long for my windows but that's fine. There soo soft. They are easy to install with a cheap tension rod. They aren't really black out or noise reducing tho. There's still light you can see in the photo and I still hear the outside noises very clearly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are really nice! They have a very soft texture and they do an excellent job at blocking out all of the light. They are fairly heavy, so they do need to be held up by a thicker curtain rod. Those flimsy white metal cheap ones will not hold these curtains up. The color is very nice and it looks just like it did in the picture online. I can also tell that these curtains are making a difference in how hot the room becomes in the afternoon. The light from the sun usually would make the temperature rise in the afternoon hours, but it is definitely cooler in the room now overall.

Room Darkening Curtains
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These curtains are a perfect addition to my living room. It keeps the noise and lights out. I love the velvet, and it’s a pretty plum color. The only drawback is they were quite heavy, and the rod that I put up didn’t hold them. They were fairly easy to install, besides the curtain rod mishap.

True matte/eggshell white velvet noise cancelling
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not quite sure if I like the grommet curtains better than the traditional ones the rod goes through but they are so much easier to hang. The fabric is good quality and they really are room darkening. I would probably buy blackout after trying these as I work night shift but I love how much light is filtered out and it really is noise reducing. The rest of my house gets so much road noise and I hear my neighbors mowing and then my bedroom is my oasis when I work. I’m very hesitant to wash them as they have that velvet texture and I’m afraid it would hold onto any particles or fuzz and may not improve the wrinkles. I’d like to steam the wrinkles out and it would be perfect. Like an almost matte, true white. I used this on a 4x5 window to get the best room darkening effect and they look nice and full.

Great feel and weight for curtains

The size was just what I needed for my sliding door. It helps block out some of the sunlight and keeps my room from getting too hot. Easy to install with the grommets also.

It really does block out a lot of light too! The texture is very unique in a curtain but it feels nice. I just don't know if the look is for everyone.

Great protective curtains
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful, rich velvety curtains that not only block the sun but reduce the outside noise. These curtains did everything it promised and then some. They served as excellent insulation against the cold weather raging and when the sun came out, it protected the home from the heat and glare. These were super easy to install with the large grommets and fit perfectly.

Do a great job of blocking out light, especially with being one of the lightest colors they offer. I have two toddlers and all tile flooring, they do a great job at reducing the echoing within the house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These replaced a set of room darkening curtains that had gotten a little too much love from my cats. They are a niceweight but not as heavy as some which I find to be a happy medium not straining the curtain rod or being too hard to install. The material is a faux velvet but without generating static such that pet hair sticks to it, and it works for the light! Will be replacing some of my others with this brand as well, really love them
