The overall look of the bookshelf is great. The quality of the wood is good, the shelves are really thick. My main issue with the shelf is that the shelves do not have indents on the underside for the height pegs. It relies on the weight of books and rubber on the pegs to hold shelves down. Also, the backing of the shelf does not fill the entire notched area, so I couldn't evenly nail it down in some places. One of the fitted screws broke in some way where it threaded sideways, and there were no extra hardware parts to replace it, although there were extra nails. The anchor works well to keep the shelf up, the touch-up marker works great and the ink absorbs into the material.

Laminate lifting in the middle of the shelf. Should have never made it to a box, also had some damage from shipping. Not your fault entirely but could be packaged to avoid that. Do better

I added this shelf for my books but also some of my degrees and work achievements. I also added pictures of my family on it as well. It's perfect for the commercial space for these things. It's large enough for plenty of my work essentials and also for me to personifies it to my space. This took me about 30 minutes to put together. It was very simple but came out sharp and industrial. It complements the collection perfectly. I could see adding 3 of these behind a desk for that full office feel. All the shelves are moveable. I liked the symmetry. If you wanted taller ones at the bottom, you can adjust the bookcase shelves accordingly.
