Description
The Expo torchiere can illuminate any room with even up lighting. A beautiful frosted glass shade diffuses bright ambient light. An Adesso patented 300 Watt Double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150 Watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. The brushed steel finish is complemented with chrome accents on a chunky pole that gives the lamp a bold presence in a room. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the pole to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Bulbs are not included. Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable led bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFL's)

I ordered 2 of these lamps for my basement family room. Like others have said they are large. The pole is much larger than other lamps of this style. The lamp has a really modern look so make sure that is what you are looking for. Also since it can hold 2 light bulbs it is really bright which is nice.

Love this lamp!!! I love it so much that I purchased 3 of them. It’s heavy duty and easy to assemble, however it’s a bit pricy. I will add 2 more if they go on sale again.

This is a good lamp for the price I paid, which was about $105. It is much better quality than a lot of floor lamps in it's price range. Its much larger than I expected, the pole is thicker and the shade is wider, but I should have read the size specifics more closely. Don't expect a dainty, feminine torchiere here. This is a solid unit with a good, heavy base. Set was a bit annoying because the pipe threading is narrow, but it was made easier with a bit of silicone lubrication. This would go best with sleek modern, mid century or art deco type decor.

I paid less than $180 so for what I paid it is ok. It is nice looking but cheaply made, the switch (knob) fell off. I lights up my living room and does the job. I would like it better if the pole was thinner. For $180 I would expect better quality. I needed a lamp and had received 2 others from other places broken, one of the other lamps was also an adesso brand, not high quality but ok. Target was great on fast shipping and price matched for me. Another wonderful experience with target.
