Description
The design gives you both general room illumination, thanks to the top torchiere light, but also adjustable task or reading light from the 2 side lights. Each of the side lights and the top light has an on-off switch, so you can vary the light output to just what you need. The thin lamp pole and the round base are both in a brushed nickel finish. Frosted glass shades are on the side and top light.

A: Hi - this lamp uses one maximum 150 watt medium base bulb for the top light and two 40 watt medium base bulbs for the side lights (bulbs not included).

Bad Pack Job
I'm sure the lamp is fine, but I have not been able to put it together yet. Whoever the genius was that figured out how to pack this lamp should receive a pink slip. There are layers of styrofoam that are taped to other layers that have to be cut and soon, your entire room will be filled with the stuff. It's ridiculous!

3-shade floor lamp
I haven't had time to call it in, but the middle fixture stopped working. I bought an extended warranty on it, so it should be refunded or replaced, but very disappointed.

Poor quality. DO NOT BUY
The first time we lifted the lamp up by the shift to relocate it, it effortlessly became detached from the base. Whatever was used to affix the two was of very poor quality. Had to return the lamp. Very disappointing.

Better than expected
The lamp is good looking and sturdy. I'm sure I'll enjoy it for years to come. The shades are thick frosted glass, the pole is clean and shiny. No scratches or defects on any of the pieces. Note of caution when opening: I opened the box from what I thought was the top. Then lifted a Styrofoam piece which I found contained the glass lamp shades. The shades fell back into the box as I lifted and one hit another. They didn't break or crack -- thankfully. When opening I would suggest removing the entire foam package assembly first, maybe by opening then flipping it over and lifting the box off. After that cut the tape and carefully remove the lamp pieces. All is well even with the mishap and am happy with the lamp. BTW shipping time was great, faster than expected.
