Q: I bought this but it didn't come with instructions. I've no clue how to put this thing together, some of the part are labeled abc etc but there's no way to tell what's what. Frustrating.

Purchased other Studio McGee pieces, which were easy to assemble. The wood pieces are nice, but this has collapsed multiple times while trying to assemble, pinching fingers. It also damaged the shelves. The locking mechanism is not easy to use, leading to the collapses.

I've been eyeing this for 3 years, the price jacked up from $250 to $375, then it dropped back down and went on sale for $175, which is when I purchased before it became unavailable. It was worth the wait and the risk, and it was very easy for me to watch someone put it together for me. It looks sleek, and perfectly suits what I need it for. Heavy, solid, wood veneer.

My husband and I put both bookcases together in under an hour. We didn’t have an issue with it. On both bookcases when we stood it up a couple of the cam locks fell out but we were able to tighten them again and haven’t had issues since. I got them when on sale I wouldn’t buy it for full price. But the final product is really pretty! I like them. Feels fairly sturdy but I waited until on sale to buy since it’s not the highest of quality.

Horrible, cheap hardware. I can't even find the chat feature anymore to have them hopefully send replacement Cam Locks, 3 broke. I can't finish assembling without them. And they expect me to repackage everything and ship out if I request a refund in the automated help section. Horrible customer service.

Super easy to put together IMO. Everything was packed really well and no damage. I am an average sized woman and did it alone in a little over an hour. Pieces are heavy and well made. The arch as others said was a little of an extra effort but if you put the screws in first so you are popping in the other dowels it does help speed it up. It looks nice and I think will last a long time! Worth the money!

Several parts cracked. Box came damaged but not a Target issue. It's like a softer wood but solid. Having the wood divets already in the holes in transit leaves those wooden dowels at risk for damage. Not happy I paid full price. I put it together and not sure it's worth the hassle to take apart and return. Wait for a sale
