I was disappointed with the quality of this ground meat. I always buy ground meat from this Target because the quality is usually very good and consistent. But sometimes the meat seems to be made from lower-quality cuts. This time there were too many white sinewy strands throughout the meat, which was unpleasant to see when it was raw. After cooking, the texture was tough and chewy, and the dish didn’t taste good because of it. This experience makes me think twice now before buying ground meat from Target again. I hope the quality becomes consistent like it used to be.

Something is wrong with this meat!
Something is wrong with the ground beef from Good and Gather! Do not buy it! Dates are fine, but the sulfur smell punched through the whole house the minute the package was opened. When we cooked meatballs in the crockpot for 8 hours with another package, the meat was still pink in the center. Put it in the oven at 400 degrees for 30 more minutes, the meat was STILL pink. Something is very wrong here.

Rotten eggs
As soon as I opened the package I was hit with a rotten egg smell. The meat looks perfectly fine and the date was good. However I threw the meat back in the package and will be getting a refund. Also after looking at other reviews I wouldn't buy any more ground beef from target

Unpleasant Odor Similar to Rotten Eggs
After opening the packet, I noticed a strong odor reminiscent of rotten eggs. Initially, I attributed it to the packaging and allowed the meat to air out for a while. While the smell did diminish somewhat, it remained noticeable. Despite my reservations, I proceeded to cook the meat, and fortunately, it was still edible. However, the lingering smell from the initial opening made it challenging to fully enjoy the meal.
