On a positive note..............
Yes, it's lightweight, flexes a lot when extended, and could be cheaper, but hey, it works. I spent well over an hour clearing the snow off my roof, and I'm so thankful this is made of aluminum because if it was heavier, I would have been doomed. The wheels did their job by keeping the distance from my newer shingles (they are not meant to be spinners, just spacers), which is fine with me. It went together fairly easy and stayed together, including the rubber grip at the end, and at the end of the season, it will be taken apart and stored in its original box. So thank you to those people who gave this negative feedback and made me nervous before it showed up at my door (which came really early). I'm glad I picked this model overall. Just FYI, I live in New England and will get a lot of use out of this for many years to come.

You have to be tall to use from the ground
Although the rake blade can be challenging to assemble, once fully assembled, it is a fantastic product! The extension is particularly helpful for reaching deep drifts, but if you plan to use it from the ground, a height of at least 6 feet is recommended for optimal reach. Thankfully, the rake is lightweight and flexible, making it easy to use once assembled.

It does a good job of avoiding pulling down any roof tiles
This roof rake is a simple and effective tool that does a great job of clearing snow from your roof without damaging any tiles. While it can be a bit awkward to lift due to its length, having a second person makes it easier. To avoid heavy snow sticking to the head of the rake, it's best to lift it up and let it drop with a little force to shake the snow loose. Despite this minor inconvenience, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and even ordered a second 16-foot version to complete the job more efficiently.
