Wish I had bought it years ago
I absolutely love this snow removal tool! After dealing with a winter full of heavy snow and ice in SE Pennsylvania, I was worried about the weight of my carport and porch. However, this aluminum tool proved to be a beast and easily broke through the ice. I especially appreciate the user-friendly design with three snap-together poles and easy disassembly for storage. I was impressed with its durability and strength, especially since it's made in the USA. Overall, a fantastic product that I highly recommend.

soak the "wheels" in HOT water for 5-10min before trying to install them
This product works exactly as I remembered this type to work. I find it surprising that some reviewers detracted stars due to assembly difficulties since my 11-year-old son assembled it with ease. The only advice I gave him was to soak the wheels in hot water before putting them on, and he encountered no problems.

Helped avoid Ice Dams with it
I bought the 21-foot roof rake in anticipation of heavy snowfall, and it did not disappoint. The product arrived quickly and was well packaged, and assembly was a breeze, especially after heating the plastic rollers in hot water. To avoid making the rake assembly too unwieldy, I only clipped together the number of pole extensions necessary to reach 3-5 feet of roof edge when testing it out. It worked perfectly and made clearing off the roof edge a breeze. I highly recommend this product and would buy it again without hesitation. Don't forget to move the removed snow away from your home's foundation to minimize flooding later.
