Q: Hey, Instructions said to remove protective film from battery. It was extremely sticky and impossible to get off. Now camera won't work unless charging, did I remove the wrong part?

submitted byKevin - 7 months agoTarget staff supportA: Hi Luichi, To get your camcorder to turn on without being connected to the charger, first check if there’s a plastic cover over the battery contacts. This cover is often included for protection and must be removed. Here are the steps: Open the battery compartment. Take out the battery. Remove the plastic shield covering the battery contacts. Reinsert the battery and close the battery compartment. Then, connect the camcorder to the charger and let the battery charge fully. Once charged, the camcorder should work without needing to be plugged in.

Q: I have had my camera plugged in for multiple hours and it is still red, and not working when unplugged (yes I took the protective film off the battery) and it also has no camera found when I have put everything in like the battery, and sd card

Q: My camcorder keeps saying it has no card or card error even though I have a sd card in it what might be the problem?
