Not Vegetarian
I was interested in purchasing this but upon looking at the list of ingredients I saw that it contains gelatin, which is made from the linings of calves stomachs. So, this is misinformation. Swanson's is good at that, I've bought supplements from them before that said vegetarian only to find when I received them that they contained gelatin. I don't know why they continue this deceptive practice.

Contains gelatin despite the “vegetarian” description. Did not notice until after I’d consumed and return window had closed. Really unhappy about this, as I had bought two.

I have never in 75 years of living had an allergic reaction to anything and it was really scary as soon as I took this. It was on the weekend and a Dr. on call got back to me within 5 minutes. Nausea, sweating, prickly heat followed by chills. I went to bed and after about 3 hours felt somewhat better. I presume the fault lies me with and not the product.

Stronger dreams, better sleep
5-HTP is subtle. It seems to enhance sleeping, but more seems to increase dreaming or @least dreams that can be somewhat remembered. The 200mg Max is helpful to me.

BE CAREFUL with 5-HTP!
Unfortunately, this supplement is not for me! Within minutes of swallowing I experienced the worst burning in the stomach ever! Thought I was having a heart attack...felt nauseated, horrible heartburn...this went on for over and hour. Tried taking it four days but symptoms would not subside. No reflection on Swanson Vitamins but this one was just not good for me (I take multiple supplements from Swanson Vitamins and love them.)

I have found that if I take it pretty much every evening I/2 to 1 hour before bed, it works great. If I miss a lot of days not so good.
