I started by taking 1 pill a day and then worked up to 2 a day after the first week. No side effects so far. I feel my sleep is getting better, and I've stopped taking melatonin each night.

I take 2 about 30 minutes before bed and it helps ease my right into sleep. No groggy or overtired feeling when falling asleep or waking up. There is no smell or taste to the capsules. It helped me to stay asleep all night as well as waking up fresh and alert. Definitely recommend if you need a little help with sleep.

I began using this as a sleep supplement, an alternative to melatonin. While I didn't notice a marked change in sleep, my daytime moods have dramatically improved! Whether that's due to better quality/deeper sleep that I'm not noticing or something else entirely, I'm not sure, but it's a welcome effect! Also noteworthy, the capsules themselves are slender, scent free, with no flavor or aftertaste, unlike many other supplements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wasn't expecting much from this product but I'm at a point where I'll try pretty much anything to help if it doesn't have massive side effects. Sleeping has been so difficult due to stress and anxiety. I've only been taking one of these a day, though it says you can take two. It took a bit to notice any differences, but after a couple weeks I'd wake in the morning and realize I'd actually slept all night. It's been years since that's happened and even then only occasionally. I've also noticed that I've been a lot calmer during the day. Whether it's this product or just the result of actually getting a good night's sleep doesn't really matter, it's another welcome difference. I definitely recommend giving 5-HTP a try if you struggle with any of these things. Sometimes all we really need is a little support and not another medication

It helps greatly with leg pain tremendously, don't have as much as I did before starting this. My sleep has also improved as well. My wife has been wanting me to try this product due to my short temper and occasional sleepiness. Thanks to Nature’s Craft, I get to try this product. After few days of taking this supplement, I noticed I don’t get irritated with small things and can fall a sleep easily. It maintains my mood in a good way. I am happy that I have it a try.

After trying this for a few nights it seems to be helping keep my sleep time longer than the usual 3-4 hours at a time. My only concern is more than usual morning drowsiness. Hopefully it lessens after longer term use.

The 5-HTP do not have a bad taste. The pills have improved my sleep tremendously.I was getting abfew hours of sleep previously. I am now getting atheist 6 hrs of sleep. I do not feel antsy or over active after talking the pills. The pills are helping me to get things handled through out my day.

I got this in the mail over a week ago it helps with my insomnia so far not much does.
