These are delicious and pretty standard as far as Taiwanese pineapple cakes go! Larger than the ones you normally get at the store and the filling is generous for the size as well. Pretty funny to see all the negative reviews submitted by people who clearly had no idea what they were ordering, lol.

I can't say how "authentic" these pineapple cakes are, but I liked them. They taste like a big pineapple-flavored fig newton. There are 8 individually wrapped cakes in each box, and both the box and the wrappers are Hello Kitty themed. I'll be going back and buying more for sure.

The packaging is soo cute i was happy to see all the sanrio characters on the box this year, but was so disappointed when i opened the box it was just hello kitty and a snake on each individual package! The pineapple cakes don’t taste the best and look terrible, didn’t like that they downsized only 8 cakes in a box.. only worth it if you want to keep the box as memorabilia lol
