Maybe my issue isnt with this particular brand/model idk. Constantly needs updates. Turn it on to use and oh, wait, it needs to update. Then after updating, wifi doesnt work. Solution is to go into settings, forget all known networks, then readd wifi network. If you use a vpn, that needs to be manually turned on every time, despite setting it to automatic in settings.

This product was mailed out having no ability to connect to the internet and clearly has major hardware issues. Still, AcerRecertified sold it through the Target website. Tech support could not fix the issue, but it was still sold and mailed out in this not-refurbished condition. The Chromebook cannot even be set up without an internet connection, so it's extra-concerning that AcerRecertified wouldn't have caught the poor quality.

Laptop just arrived in bubble wrap. Some light scratches on the bottom as expected for refurbished. Laptop was not charged and did not turn on. Power cord/plug was NOT included. Description didn’t specify if it did or didn’t include the plug. But, you’d assume it did. This will go back. At least it’s an easy return at my local Target store.

I purchased this just to type for my school assignments on the go. It is very light weight, user friendly and holds very good charge despite being refurbished. Not sure how long this was in storage as the battery is at 94% and I received it two weeks ago. Also the track pad is not as sturdy as I would like it but again you get what you paid for.
