Q: Can this effectively be used as the first cleanse in a double cleanse routine? I mean to remove makeup first and then cleansing again after with a different product?

A:Â The Brightening Cleansing Gel can be used to in a two step cleansing regimen either as the first or second step. If using with an oil cleanser, we would recommend using the oil cleanser as the first step, followed by the Brightening Cleansing Gel.

A:Â The Brightening Cleansing Gel is formulated for all skin types, however if you tend to have dry skin you may find the Ultra Hydrating Green Juice Cleanser a better fit to help balance and replenish.

This is the worst reaction I've had from a cleanser ever, and I use scrubs and AHA/BHA cleaners on a regular basis with no issues. It caused a chemical-like burn on my face (redness, swelling, burning), and dried out my arms. Please be careful!

First time using this and I really like it. I have very sensitive skin and I found this doesn’t dry out my skin and gives me a nice bright glow almost. I feel it cleans well but not too stripping and doesn’t leave my face feeling tight. The scent is berries but also heavy on the orange citrus. But I don’t mind that. This has definitely replaced my Cerave cleanser and it’s vegan and clean.

I was hoping this would be a gentle yet effective cleaner, but I found it to be a little too stripping, even in the summer. It's not horribly stripping compared to some other cleansers, but I like my face to feel supple and clean with a cleanser and this one left it feeling a little dry and tight, not something I can use everyday. I don't use it to clean off makeup so perhaps it is more suitable for that. The scent is also unpleasant as it smells like the disinfecting kind of lemon.

I have been using this product for 2 weeks now and I’ve been getting compliments about how great my skin looks and how I’m glowing. I literally got it because I was looking for a cleanser and this one just stood out to me. I used it with Cocokind turmeric illuminating solution to help fade my hyperpigmentation. I love the face wash so much and really want to try to exfoliating cleanser next.

Been using this since 2020. I haven’t had to put in a lot of foundation since using this cleanser. It’s definitely cleared my skin along with the brand’ s other skin care products (can’t think of the exact names at the moment but it’s the vitamin c little jar thingy, and the face scrub).

First off, I ordered this by accident, I normally use their green scrub thing which I adore. I don’t know what’s in this that causes a reaction, but I’m the queen of NEVER having allergic reactions to product, and this makes my face bright red and hot like I have a fever. If I leave it on my face for more than 5 seconds I can bank on it leaving my face a bright red blotchy mess for hours after. Going back to Acure’s green scrub, which is what I normally use. I don’t consider myself to have sensitive skin by any means, I’m combo/oily and have used tons of products in the past but never had this reaction before.
