Q: Will this frame work for a 4foot wide by 6 foot tall gate?

A: Hi Wampbat7! If you are looking at the 30-60" wide x 3-4ft high - no this will work. Its really the weight rating on the hinge hardware that I would not recommend that much weight - a 6" ft tall gate does weigh more hung. Bought the gate up to 96 inches and needed almost all of it. The steel framing is solid and hopefully should hold up during the winter when we have 90+ mph winds.

Worked so well I installed a second one!
I installed an Adjust a Gate about 3 years ago on our backyard fence and it has worked and held up so well I just bought another one and installed it on a new fence. The system is easy to put together and adjust.

Disappointed
Purchased kit to replace a 50" gate. Has no problem getting the hinges and frame installed. Cut the 2 x 4s to length and upon trying to install found that the brackets they fit into were 1/8 inch too small, therefore required trimmings of the ends to fit. What should have been a quick installation took much longer than expected.

We discussed the review internally here and wanted to determine the type of wood that you are using - if its pressure treated wood 2x4s these should have no problem fitting into the frame brackets. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not have any pictures but used this and another one I purchased to make a gate instead of just a door and the instructions were easy to use, the products are very well built and don't seem like they will rust like some products do. Anyone using wood or vinyl to build a gate would be wasting time by not buying this products and using it as the frame. It worked amazingly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was definitely a new spin on hardware for installing a gate. I definitely loved the simplicity of it and how easily adjustable it was. Even with adjusting action it seems really sturdy. I would definitely recommend if you are looking to install a gate on your fence I would take this route. Very easy and straight forward. I give this a 8.9 out of 10 on the all around scale.

Never sag

I have not been able to use this yet as I do not own a fence gate at my home trying to find a friend that would gladly take it but unfortunately that has not happened yet, as far as I know, it is a really great gate addition as it keeps your gate from sagging.

Fence Gate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this frame gate at the right time as to build our backyard fence gate for our house. The installation was easy and the video all over helped to know the steps .As beginners it took over an hour to install this without the planks. The overall look is amazing and decent goes well with our need. Highly recommended.

We just had a home supply store cut lumber to fit frame and followed instructions. It attached to our existing fence so well and easily. The gate swings effortlessly and is very secure. I foresee this lasting a really long time. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the frame only. I'm covering it with chicken wire and hard wire. It will be replacing the flimsy gate that is on my chicken run. I'm just waiting till it gets warmer out to do that. It seems to be a heavy duty gate though.

Great DIY Fix for sagging gate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My gate had slowly been sagging but I wasnt sure on exactly how to fix it. I would consider myself a beginner to intermediate DIY’er. YouTube is my friend but there are several frustrations along the way usually. This process was pretty easy to follow and I completed it myself. I found reviews on Amazon that detailed the instructions fully and that was very helpful with anything I was unsure of or just needed to actually see to make sense in my head. The fact that the gate is adjustable allows for some wiggle room on adjusting to the exact measurements needed. I did have to straighten out the post hinges a bit but no big deal. The gate is hollow aluminum and is therefore light weight. I would recommend this!! I did get this as a free product from Influenster.

However, it is super easy to build a strong square gate so it won’t sag! It would be perfect for an aging fence to help reinforce and regain more life in it
