Love the clean I get from this. Unfortunately, I have gotten a slight allergic reaction. But, I will use on certain areas.

From original purchase ingredients differ a lot Water, lather hard to come by, shea absent mint;too. Doubt I would order again.

No weird smells, leaves my skin feeling clean, refreshing, not too liquidy or thick. I keep coming back for a reason. If you're unsure, try it. This was recommended to me by a friend because my sensitive skin really really doesn't like most soaps. Game changer and I will not not buy. Keep making it and I will keep buying it!

I like this product alot, but why does it not come with a pump? That is so inconvenient that this product lost 2 points for this alone as not having a pump that fits the bottle makes it hard to use in the shower and causes waste of the product. If you can put a pump on smaller sizes, then why can you not put a pump on this size as well.

Second best soap for sensitive skin. The first best soap was the ginger turmeric, unfortunately it was discontinued. So, I now use Unscented. After each wash I moisturize with unscented body lotion, and my hands are soft all day long. I love this soap!

I have been using Alaffia Unscented Black Soap for over 3 years now and haven’t had problems until now. Upon my recent discovery, the ingredients have changed and it has reaped havoc on my skin. My face is so much dryer now and does not stay moisturized as it once did. I am so frustrated because I also used this in my hair wash routine.

I mainly use this as a dish soap by mixing roughly 1:1 with warm water in a spray bottle, or use it as-is in a soap-dispensing dish scrubbing wand. It works well. I love the fact that the ingredients are *actually* natural, not just labeled as such. The soap is naturally antibacterial so I've never had to worry about that. I've been using it for years and will continue so long as they keep making this unscented, lovely product!

I’m allergic to sulfates. Such as sodium laureth sulfate, a very common chemical in liquid soaps. I used to use Alaffia Everyday Shea unscented, but can’t buy it anymore. I’m finding this black soap acceptable having no sulfates, and if diluted slightly, it can be used in the old shea bottles. I gave it 4 stars because it still has a stronger scent than the shea, which is still my fav. Very pleased with Alaffia products.

Please change back to the organic original formula. We all with sensitive skin finally found a brand that works for melanated skin and you change the formula for the profit and not the people. Let me guess some non melanated people showed you a check with a whole lot of zeros? And family members said sell so they can get a cut? Sell outs - Always a sad story.

This soap is excellent for lady area. It preserves the skin's natural barrier and maintains pH balance. It gently cleanses without causing irritation, and the large bottle ensures it will last a long time.

I start using it month ago. All of my black heads and white heads gone, all the scars gone, skin is shining and feels so smooth. Buying more!

To all the customers who have used and loved this product for years be aware the ingredients have changed and it is no longer a product I would recommend. To the owner if you’re reading this, please please go back to the original formula. I would rather pay a higher price for a quality product than see ingredient changes in a tried and true formula just to cut corners and save a penny. Extremely disappointed to have to replace this product I have come to love and rely on for so many uses… 💔

I just went to stock up on my All-in-one wash and just happened to look at the ingredients. I felt like something was different about it. So I left the bottles in the store. When I got home I noticed I had one bottle with the old ingredients and one with the new. I wonder if this is why my kids have been developing this fine rash on their bodies. They shower in both bathrooms where the respective soaps are kept. So it's difficult to know for sure. Nonetheless, it's very frustrating when companies just change ingredients. You can almost guarantee that they will either sell to a bigger and/or somehow mess up a good thing by changing the original formula that people had come to love. I already pay more for personal hygiene products. I'm now looking for a new cleanser. It's so annoying!

I used to be a consistent buyer and would pick up 2 bottles of the unscented body wash. I wanted to come back and restock on some more but when I checked the ingredients they were completely different from what i was used to. What happened to African mint extract and REAL shea butter and oils?? Not whatever the new ingredients are. I’m actually shocked. This was one of a very few companies i bought fully natural products from. But unfortunately it looks like I’ll have to go elsewhere for that.

A friend turned me on to this soap last year (by accident-we were traveling together and I forgot soap, so he lent me his), and I’ve tried to stay stocked up on it ever since. I have eczema and a taste for natural-ish products, so this works great for me. It cleans deep and is never irritating. I use it as hand soap, body wash, shampoo, shaving cream, and to hand-launder my silk pillowcase. It takes a moment to lather up, but it’s totally worth it!

I use it on my face it really addd a beautiful even tone and glow.

I use this for my toddler (body & shampoo) and myself and I’m very pleased. We both have sensitive skin and haven’t had any issues with it. I like that it suds up well and leaves skin feeling smooth.

Love this product. No complaints. I wish I had gotten one of the scented ones though.
