This feels very nice BUT It smells like fresh tar. The smell is so incredibly strong that I am unable to use it. Also this tub was only half filled when purchased- that feels like a ripoff.

Needs different size container
I too, was shocked and appalled that 2/3rds of the product was missing, and I only just now noticed that it says 4oz on the description. Why would they use the same size container as the 11oz??!! Seems misleading. Anyway, the product itself is good, works well, has a light scent without being overpowering, and much easier to use than the pure shea butter, which is so thick that I have to dig it out with a tiny spatula.

smells rotten
It is pricey and I don’t know if I got a bad one but it smells horrible. It is not expired so I’ll try and mix it with other products just so I don’t waste it but the smell alone would be enough for me not to recommend this butter.

Clean all-natural beauty item
Love this stuff! Just Shea and Cononut-- nothing else. Excellent moisurizer, spreads well and skin soaks it up. Use it for my face and hands during the day.

Terrible Smell
If I could rate this product a zero I would!! Horrible musky smell almost as if it were expired. I checked the date and it's not expired. So then why does it smell musky and rotten??? Don't buy this product! There are much better prods out there.

Our shea butter is unrefined, so it has not been processed, bleached, or stripped of its natural properties. Produced in Togo, West Africa, the shea butter is handcrafted and has a natural smell. There will always be a slight variation in color, texture, and scent making it truly a unique and beautiful product. Nope
I think I got a bad one. The container was barely full and smelled like oil gone rancid. Ive used coconut oil and Shea butter before but I’ve never had it smell like this. It wasn’t whipped. It was just a hard block of gunk stuck to the side.
