A: The shade of the wood is more of a 'natural' finish. It has varying grains of lighter/darker-tone wood. Each piece will vary but the images are representative of the finish. Hope this helps!

it's very beautiful and surprisingly high quality given that it's from Target. It has heft to it, I almost needed help to lift the wood piece. I was afraid the wood top wouldn't support the weight of my 6'2'' boyfriend but it can definitely accommodate his 200 pounds! Thanks to the other reviewers for recommending this, they were right!
