This isn’t one of my favorites. The smell is off putting to me and nice scent is one of the main qualities I look for in a shampoo or conditioner. I also felt like my hair did not feel moisturized after showering. I have dry ends and this product didn’t help with that or detangling at all.

I definitely like Alba Botanica’s conditioner better than the shampoo. It is super light and not too dense and works very well. Once again it isn’t very scented and the scent doesn’t stay in my hair but it is paraben and sulfate free and works well.

While I was not too fond of the shampoo from his line (tangled my hair too easily), I did like the conditioner. The scent is a very clean/herbal one -which doesn't linger and is good for those with fragrance sensitivities. This conditioner hydrated my dry ends and left it smooth. However, after a month of using, I did not notice any difference or repair on my split-ends.

My curls were defined and the frizz was slightly tamed. I would use this product again. I also used it on my nephews hair just to see how it worked on a courser thicker hair type. It glided through his coils with no problems. Definitely a product that I feel will work for various hair types.

I tried it out for about a month, and I think it’s just not right for my hair. It weighs it down but also doesn’t seem to hydrate it enough. Also, one major recommendation for the product packaging on both the shampoo and conditioner: they are incredibly difficult to tell apart, their labels are identical except for the words “shampoo” and “conditioner,” and I wear glasses so it’s difficult to read in the shower. The bottles are also completely round and made of very smooth plastic, so with wet/slippery hands they’re difficult to hold onto, I definitely dropped them a few times.

It did leave my hair soft but I was a little put off from the scent. I know that I wanted to try this out for the cannabis extract since it helps the body. I found that I had to put a lot of the product in my hair to feel like I was actually getting my hair covered. I combed my hair out after the shower and it was easier to comb through.

It reminds me a lot of this leave in conditioner treatment i use. Only that this i don’t need to leave in. I use it as my normal conditioner and it gets the job done. I recommend for people with thick hair as this product can actually help you tame it by leaving it so soft after using.

That being said it didn’t leave that much moisture after I rinsed it out. My hair is low porosity which means it loses moisture quickly so it may be plenty moisturizing for other hair types. My hair still felt soft after using my deep conditioner along with this product

I love that it lists right on the label that it doesn’t contain parabens and other nasty things. I wish it said whether it contained silicone in plain, large letters. I checked the ingredients and I don’t see silicone listed, which is important to me, so if it’s not an ingredient I wish they would be bold about letting us know! I received alba botanic smooth and soothe shampoo free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
