The chance is higher if you: are age 60 or older,have had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems,take a blood thinning (anticoagulant) or steroid drug,take other drugs containing prescription or nonprescription NSAIDs (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or others),have 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product,take more or for a longer time than directed.

Do not use

Do not use: if you are allergic to aspirin or any other pain reliever/fever reducer,if you have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients.

Ask a doctor before use if: stomach bleeding warning applies to you,you have a history of stomach problems, such as heartburn,you have high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease,you are taking a diuretic,you have asthma,you have a sodium-restricted diet.

Directions

Fully dissolve 2 tablets in 4 ounces of water before taking. Place two (2) tablets in 4 oz of water. Dissolve tablets completely. You do not have to drink any of the residue that may be on the bottom of the glass. The medicines of Alka-Seltzer are in the water. Take Alka-Seltzer any time - morning, noon, or night - when you need relief from heartburn, upset stomach, acid indigestion with headache or body aches.

Adults and Children 12 Years and Over

2 tablets every 4 hours, or as directed by a doctor. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.

Adults 60 Years and Over

2 tablets every 4 hours, or as directed by a doctor. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours.

Children Under 12 Years

Consult a doctor.

Other information

Each Tablet Contains: Sodium 567 mg. Store at room temperature. Avoid excessive heat. Alka-Seltzer in water contains principally the antacid sodium citrate and the analgesic sodium acetylsalicylate.

Helps Relieve Symptoms

Ibuse this when I start feeling aches and pains. It helps relieve symptoms from headaches and backache. It can even bring my fever down. I just open the individual package and plop a couple of tablets in water, watch the fizz, and drink.

Alka Seltzer Super Fan

I’ve been using Alka-Seltzer for last year now and I gotta say it’s the best invention ever. I’ve actually considered reaching out to Alka-Seltzer to see if I could be employed by them because that’s how much I love their product. It changed my life. It’s literally the best thing ever. It’s where air meets water and it’s delicious. The bubbles and the sound it makes while it dissolves is beyond satisfying and I crave it daily. The only problem is I’m in Canada and I can’t get a lot of products.

Headache relief 🤕

Today I had an awful headache it was like shots in my head. And after 30 minutes of drinking alka seltzer I was so relieved cause before I couldn't do anything even when I was lying it hurt. I love the box and inside individually wrapped 2 tablets. It tastes like sparkling water which I like it doesn't taste like medicine.

Alkaseltzer is an all time fantastic product!

These are amazing! They help with tummy issues along with body aches. Still a great value for your money also. My family also uses other Alkaseltzer products and they've always worked the best in my opinion.

Recommend

This is a staple over the counter remedies that I have to have in my house. Whenever I have spicy or oily food, I take it. It gives you a little salty taste with a bit of bubbly, like flat soft drink but it helps me a-lot with heartburn so. I like to have it

Muy bueno

Good product, with very good results, dissolved in water and goodbye discomfort. I recommend it 100%. It doesn't have a bad taste, the instructions are clear, the packaging is easy to open, and it's an affordable price.

Not really the type of person who likes to take medications, prefer more natural remedies. However, this product does what it says, if I’m ever dealing with a bad headache or back pain this usually helps. Love that come in separate packs that way I can easily carry some with me. They don’t really have a scent or taste to them maybe just a tiny bit bitter but that’s really it. Overall, they are affordable and they seem to get the job done.

Please bring back the original formula! We want the one that has the antacid and the aspirin TOGETHER. And not the lemon-lime flavor... it's awful. It was not a good idea to separate the 2 products, because now I will have to take TWO products to accomplish what ONE product used to do. Why would you change the product that made your name great?? I will not buy any more alka seltzer unless the original formula comes back. so disappointed.

The new extra strength Alka-Seltzer with the red stripe in the box is difficult to swallow, it is very distasteful. Please go back to the original flavor or please let me know where I can buy the original flavor, if it has not been discontinued.

I love it

I really like Alk Selrzer effervescent tablets. Every time I have indigestion, I just soak 2 tablets and drink them. My indigestion gradually disappears very quickly. My whole family likes this product.

"Alka-Seltzer Original Flavor" is just Effervescent Aspirin. Why did you discontinue "Alka-Seltzer Original" which was Antacid and Aspirin. Been using for decades and now I can't find it. Someone there really screwed up!

Great

Works very well. Upset stomach quite often. Helps with minor aches and pains and the effervescence helps settle the tummy when I've eaten too much, alka seltzer will make i feel better in 5 minutes, even if just a little. I love this stuff. Especially if I have a stomach ache.
