Sizes don't mean anything. I purchased these as a gift for Christmas, but when it turned out these were a touch too small, I ordered a size up as a replacement for my loved one. Despite claiming to be two different sizes, they are exactly the same. The numbered sizing has no relation to reality. This is an item you will have to try on before buying if you have any hope of finding a pair that fits properly.

My second pair of Alpines

I bought my first pair of Alpines about a year ago, they get a good workout during the colder months. Ordered a second pair so I could wash my first pair and still have a pair to wear in the meantime. Good soles are flexible, but sturdy enough to step outside if need be. Once I forgot that I was wearing them and went grocery shopping with them on.

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas. She loves them! But they did run small and we had to order the next size up.

Nice slipper but not very warm and fits VERY tight

Carefully reviewed the sizing info and my foot runs on the smaller side of 12, but the Large (listed as 11-12) is uncomfortably snug. Thinking these will compress over time, I've been wearing them most days. They've not compressed much, so still too snug. They are also surprisingly not very warm! The cold floor seems to come through to my feet quickly. But they are well made.

Fine if you're sitting in your easy chair or shuffling around in the kitchen. I wear a ten. As I walk in these the heal slips out. And walking sideways on any incline finds the slipper bottom "slipping" out from under my foot. The next smaller size would cramp my toes. We love Dearfoams! Will certainly select another to try. (....and thank you Dearfoams for recognizing in this survey there are but two genders on this planet.)

They are super comfortable, but because they're not lined with wool, my feet do start to sweat in them after a while. I wear them about 40hrs a week, working from home in my office. So the wear in 3 wks may be more than most would do in time, but it's not walking time. It's me sitting. Either way this is still the fastest i have had a pair of slippers start to come apart. Surprised me because the construction feels good.

Bought this products months ago and still a GREAT BUY! I wanted something similar to my other pair that has a zipper but still fell in love with this pair. Yes, very warm and cozy!

Terrible presentation and packaging

These arrived without any tags attached in a plain cardboard box with a crinkled marketing paper tossed inside. It looked like something I got used from a garage sale. Could not present as a gift. The slippers didn't look worn, but could have been- just two slippers shoved in parking paper in shipping cardboard. I was too embarrassed and am now stuck with expensive slippers. Never again.

My Dad loves them!

My Dad received these slippers as a Christmas gift and he absolutely loves them. The arch support in the Alpine series of slippers from Dearfoam is a game-changer in slippers. My dad says that these are the best slippers he's ever had and he lives in them. The only thing that would improve them is for them to come in better sizing - at least in whole sizes, but regular shoe sizes would be the best. It would also be nice if there was a genuine leather/suede line too (understandably, they would need to be a bit more expensive, but I would be willing to invest in them).
