A: Hello VA This wallet does not require or need a battery. If you are referring to the image in which the wallet is pictured next to a AA battery it was included to help our shoppers visualize how thin the wallet is. i.e. to illustrate that the wallet is about the same thickness as a AA battery which everyone is familiar with hence easy to get a sense.
