A: Great question typically when a suitcase is advertised the size represents how the size of the storage portion of the suitcase and the overall dimensions include the wheels on the bottom as well. **Not all suitcase manufacturers follow this, but this is what I have found to be the most common while shopping for suitcases myself. 20" is the height of the storage portion of the suitcase itself. Where as the measurement of 22" is the total height including the wheels on the bottom of the suitcase. Hope this helps.
