This is a great-looking suitcase, and the telescoping wheels are nice and smooth. However, if you are looking for a carry-on size, this is NOT the one. I quickly grabbed this because the beautiful color caught my eye, and the manufacturer tag specified 20 inches. Luckily, I checked before heading to the airport. It actually measures 23.5 inches. I had to run around at the last minute looking for a replacement to comply with the airline standard carry-on size of 21.5 inches. Shame on American Tourister for blatantly lying about the size. I feel sorry for anyone who buys this based on the specs printed on ALL THREE of the tags. They will almost definitely incur a checked bag fee once they arrive at the airport.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced an old piece of luggage of approximately the same size with the American Tourister Phenom LTE. I bought this originally because it's a soft-side with all the same features of my old luggage (i.e. zippered pockets in all the same places). However, I've found that the Phenom is about 15% larger -- and that's before I deploy the expansion zipper! I'm 6'4" and 230lbs, so I really appreciate having a piece of luggage that has additional space after I pack in a week's worth of clothes. The Phenom's wheels roll much more smoothly than the old bag, and the selectable-length extension handle is also a nice feature. I travel a lot for work, and I am confident I will have many years' worth of good traveling with this bag.

I bought this American Tourister. I am very happy with its first trip! Light weight and easy to maneuver. And it was inexpensive (compared to my previous one! Thank you!

Hopefully this holds up! Teal color is beautiful: classy enough for business travel but bright enough to stand out in the luggage carousel.
