Cute illustrations of variety of animals. As others have mentioned, the touch & feel areas could stand to be larger. A baby will be quite some time developing the fine motor control needed to touch those smaller areas without help. Still, I can see this becoming a favorite with a young child.
As far as touch and feel books go, this one is pretty lame. There wasn’t a whole lot of thought put in to varying textures; many “textures” are just sunken spots on a page or a section of foil. On pages that do have interesting textures, such as fur, the furry spot is about the size of a penny–not much to feel at all.
