Taking off the case
First of all I bought this case like a year ago and couldn't get it off. I just got it off today. I used a paper clip and unraveled it. Then I slid it around the part of the case at the very bottom to slightly dislodge it (the area where the charging port is) . I did it until you could see a space between where the case is and the AirPods are. Then I took a ballpoint pen (with the cap on) and pushed it. Keep on pushing the pen with hard pressure and the AirPod case eventually comes out. But just save yourself the pain and don't buy it bc there's no reason to do weird tricks just to get the case off.

This case trapped my AirPods in it for two years. I literally could not get them out. I had to cut the case off in order to free the AirPods. It was cute until it got yellow with age and it just wasn’t worth it.

It gets stuck, do not buy
This product is cute but it gets SO stuck. The bottom half was so stuck on my AirPods case it took me 30 minutes to very carefully pry it off. Do not buy this case unless you’re never going to take it off your AirPods case.
