Throughout her distinguished international career, she has helped to shape research, policy and practice in teacher education. Retired as music teacher from the Nassau BOCES Rosemary Kennedy School and as New York University's Steinhardt Director of Music Education, she combines over forty years of music teaching experience PK-16 in general, special, and higher education with current adjunct teaching on the faculties of NYU and Long Island University-Post.
