ASUS Membrane Gaming Keyboard for PC - TUF K1 | Programmable, Onboard Memory | Dedicated Volume Knob, Aura Sync RGB & Side Lighting

I have the ROG Strix Flare, which I liked, but found increasingly difficult to use as arthritus worsens. The brown switches were great at first, now much harder to type on without my fingers cramping up. Not great for a software developer, or an older gamer. I tried 3 different brands of keyboards, and this one I'm going to keep. I love the quiet keys and they are much easier to type then the brown switches I was used to. I wanted a keyboard that synced with my ASUS motherboard ram temperatures, and at the very least had decent backlighting. The lighting on this could be brighter. The top row can be harder to see. This board will blink out when rebooting, which makes the keys impossible to see, until it resyncs with the OS at login screen. Could be a problem with Armoury Crate. I had to roll back it back a version. If you're a night owl, like me coding and rebooting in the dark, that's an issue. Despite the lighting, which only goes out briefly, I'm very pleased with this keyboard. I like the feel of these antipersperant keys, the wrist rest is really a considerate bonus. I lke the placement and size of the volume knob, which has a firm soft click of the wheel, easy to find in the dark. If the board was brighter, it would have gotten another star.

Beautiful keyboard, with pleasant and soft-touch keys, in addition to pleasant colors and configurations. The negative side is the dark keys and in a well-lit environment, with natural light for example, it is almost impossible to see the characters.

It’s not too loud, it has a armrest, and a volume wheel.

The Fonts are hard to read unless you are almost on TOP of the keys. KEY CAPS are very disappointing quality is subpar, minus F.

like this keyboard it just works

I could not find a better keyboard that fits my needs. The RGB lightning was a bonus especially in yhe dark. The keyboard is also comfortable to type. I also liked that it has a volume control. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

This keyboard has been amazing, and happy I went with this one.

great keyboard, wish there were more static colours other than red. Fits my needs perfectly, will likely come to ASUS when needing other tech equipment.

It looked great but I could not use it because the keys were so unevenly lit from beneath they were illegible! The top half of most keys were unlit. So, 7 was a /, T was a I, O was a u. I returned it.

You see only half of each key letter when you put the brightness on med or max. Unless you put the keyboard on 90' vertical, you don't see the letter properly.

Best keyboard I have owned yet especially the price range I genuinely like this keyboard a lot

Good Keyboard. The only downside is that every key is not programmable as far as lights go.

Stopped working after 2 days so I returned it and bought a Logitech.

Keys fonts are unreadable. Other than that everything is great
