Not as hydrating
It’s not hydrating. Feels gross on lips. A lot of the reviews are from testers who received free products. I love the body moisturizer and hand lotion from this line.

Perfect hydration

Makes my hands very soft!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this Aveeno Skin relief, healing ointment! It absorbed into my skin fast and left it super moisturized and luxurious! It was slightly sticky for about five minutes and then absorbed in. It says it’s also for lips, however, I did not care for it on my lips because it absorbed in too fast.

Actually keeps dry skin moist
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both me and my family member have dry skin that cracks. She works with paper all day though and it's gotten bad. Like so bad she's wearing a finger cot to protect her worst fingers. Aveeno is a really gentle brand. This product has Shea butter and dimethicone which make it really thick. It smooth over the skin really well. It doesnt really sink in as it's an ointment. After a week of use both of our worst areas are less rough and cracked. I think it will only continue to work. I notice results as soon as I use it. I also really like that it contains oat! I'm going to buy another tube.

It’s not a lotion, definitely more of an ointment texture and tint, except it’s not greasy or sticky. My skin gets extremely dry and looks dehydrated and this brings my skin back to life. This has been amazing on my cracked heels! It leaves my hands and feet so silky and soft. It heals my skins natural barrier. It has no scent and doesn’t irritate any part of me. I even put this on my lips! It’s really so lightweight, yet deeply hydrating. After using this for just a week my skin is healthier, brighter, smoother, and softer! I can’t recommend this ointment enough!

I absolutely LOVE AVEENO Products!! And This moisturizing healing balm is so effective at repairing dry skin because it is so emollient and rich. It leaves your skin feeling beautiful and full of moisture! You can use this anywhere you want extra healing for dry cracked skin. I have been loving this on my lips as it makes them feel so supple and not greasy. I have even used this on my heels and side of my toes for callouses and it has helped the cracking! I am so pleased with this ointment I will definitely continue using this especially with the cold winter months ahead, this will absolutely help with My husband and My kids sensitive skin as well!

It works amazingly well for dry, cracked lips - better than any lip balm I’ve tried. It doesn’t sting, has no fragrance or flavor, and gives instant relief and long-lasting moisture. A little goes a long way. It’s effective, and honestly a must-have. Highly recommend if you’re dealing with dry skin, healing wounds, or just want something that actually works for your lips. There’re so many different uses for it.

Gentle healing

It has hardly any scent and absorbs quickly to heal dry skin caused by weather or harsh soaps. I found it to be a bit sticky for a while after applying, but it works so well that I'm unbothered by this. Great to keep in your car or bag for on the go quick healing moisture.
