[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small home therefore it's very important to be organized. You would be surprised at the amount of space gained with a little organization. I use several products from Avery’s. Recently I tried Avery Strung Marking Tags 12201, size 2 3/4” X 1 11/16”. They are packaged in a reusable cardboard box containing 1000 tags. The tags are made of white cardstock shaped in a rectangle with cotton/Polyester twine looped through the tag and knotted. It's easy to remove the string if it's not needed. You can use them for work, home, crafts, and more. I like using them when I don't want residue from a sticker left behind. I think it's great to be able to use a pen, paint pen, chalkboard markers, and more. The tags can be bold, bright, or simply depending on your own taste. They are great for normal things like making price tags for items you're selling. You can also use them to mark items around the home for easy identification. You know those electronic cords that you can never tell apart. In a pinch you can even make cute little gift tags from them.

The size is very good 2-3/4"8" x 2-11/16" giving space to write the dollar amount and booth number. Can even add a description of the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I often need to mark inventory, whether it's stuff I intend to sell in a yard sale or items I have purchased throughout the year to give as holiday gifts. I usually indicate what's to be done with these items by putting a sticky note on it. Of course, half the time, the sticky note falls off and I have no idea who gets the apple cinnamon-scented candle. That's why these tags are perfect. Their size is just right--small enough to be attached to virtually anything, but big enough to hold plenty of information. These are especially good for yard sales or for use in small shops. If you use a marker to write the price, it can be easily seen even without picking up the tag. Each tag has a piece of white string that is knotted at the end. You can attach the string to something on your sale item. For example, the tag can be looped through the string around the handle of a mug. If that isn't convenient, a small piece of tape will hold the string and tag in place. One other nice feature of these marking tags is that, while there are 1,000 of them in this box, they aren't just dumped into it and left to tangle. These are actually grouped into ten stacks of 100 tags that are then held together by a twist tie. This really helps avoid a terrible tangly mess. These tags are a must-have for frequent yard sales, but there are so many other ways they can be used. If you have a need to mark and organize lots of various items, this might be just the ticket for you!

Great size and the show up well on my door signs that I make to sell at craft shows. Then we had a late Christmas get together and I was out of gift tags. I took some of these and used a rubber stamp to stamp some snow fakes on them to match my wrapping paper and came up with the perfect gift tag. My hubby has decided to tear down our one older car this winter and do some engine work on it. He took a bundle of them and has been marking parts that he's taken off with them. Great quality and lots of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get my Avery Strung Marking Tags for labelling things in my house. I use an area of my basement and my Garage for storage. In these storage area’s I have everything from indoor and outdoor decorations, collectible items, to clothing. Some of the items get moved in and out during different times of the year while others are there on a more permanent basis. I also have some things that are small, some are large, but many of them are stored with similar items in large storage boxes. The Avery Marking tags are big enough to write a bunch of things on them so that I can label the boxes. I can use the string to dangle the labels or sometimes I just tape them onto the storage containers. The label is sturdy and easy to write on with pen or pencil, but I used a fine tipped marker. The rope is a little flimsy, but it gets the job done. I would strongly recommend the Strung Avery Marking Tags to anyone that needs to label anything in their house. They work very well and you get 1,000 of them!!!

There is plenty of room for not only a price but I can add a description or any other information I need to. The front and back are the same so both sides can be used. The box shows the actual size so it is easy to visualize. I like that they are already strung and ready to use. With 1000 tags the box could get messy fast, but they are bundled into groups so they are easy to keep organized as well.

They are big enough to hold all of the information about each batch of yarn which includes what kind of fiber, dyes, mordant and more. The plain finish of the tags means they are easy to write on with any pen or marker and the writing does not smear before it dries. I like that the tags are already strung so it is simple for my mom to tie them on her skeins of yarn. Overall these tags are an excellent product and the large number of them in the box means they'll last for a while as well.
