A: How to Change the Batteries in Your Baby Shusher What you’ll need: 1 Phillips screwdriver 2 new AA batteries Steps: 1. Remove the top cap – The battery compartment is under the top cap. Locate the screw in the top-center, unscrew using your Phillips screwdriver, and lift off the cap. 2. Release the battery clip – Press the tab to release the clip holding the batteries in place. 3. Remove the batteries – Turn the unit upside down so the batteries slide out. 4. Insert new batteries – Place the new AA batteries in the same orientation as the old ones. 5. Replace the battery clip – Snap the clip back into position to secure the batteries. 6. Reattach the top cap – Screw the top back in place. Tip: Do not overtighten; if the top won’t turn, slightly loosen the screw until the device powers on. 7. Test your Baby Shusher – Turn it on to make sure it works properly. Sounds realistic
It is very soothing. I love that the shushing sounds so realistic. It is soft and has a smooth soft comforting feel for baby. I am very impressed with the timer because I can choose between 15 or 30 minutes of play, it is very effective and I definitely recommend it.

Human shushing sound
Decent bed/night-time aid for babies. We've used several different lullaby and white noise devices. This one differs in that it is an actual human producing the shushing ("Sh") sound. May work better than lullabies or white noise with babies who want reassurance of their "parent" being present and shushing them to sleep. Convenient as you can easily take it along on travels.

something different that makes life easier
I received this product from heybullseye for review. This product was a very pleasant surprise, as I didn't think it would work as well as advertised, and I must say I was surprised because it has helped me a lot. It's like a helper; you get tired of making a "shhh" sound, and this helps you continue. It's small, can go anywhere, and above all, I can hang it wherever I need it.

Very convenient!
This baby shusher was smaller and convenient. It was effective as after I started using it, my child has been sleeping well. They were able to sleep comfortably throughout the night and I haven’t had any issues since using this.

Helpful tool
My daughter is not a fan of white noise machines, but of course like most babies, loves the shh shhh sound of Mommy! This babyshusher works like a dream. You can adjust the volume as well as the length of the shh sound.

Incredible
This is an incredible little machine to help soothe your baby. The slow shhhhhhhh.....shhhhhhh, is just that, soothing, relaxing and lulls our baby to sleep quickly. We started using this week One and she seems to really relax and fall asleep well each time. It has a handy strap to attach so that you can carry it around easily or hang it on a door handle! It has timer optionsand volume control.

Simple yet effective
It's pretty simple but it seems to work. Its kind of similar to a white noise machine but portable and easy to pop in a diaper bag. If baby is used to the shushing sound it seems to work better but it also sounds like womb sounds so an easy adjustment.

Skeptical, but it has its uses
I was skeptical of the BabyShusher. As a parent of four, I've seen it all when it comes to different gadgets to help babies sleep. I will say that this is pretty useful when you don't have a phone or tablet that you can use to play white noise or something similar. The audio is pretty good. But I wish the "shhh" sounds would have variable durations instead of a consistent "shhhh." Variance in "shhhh" duration would help make it sound more natural. A positive of the Babyshusher is the size of the device. It fits well inside a diaper bag.

Works
We have been trying everything to help quiet our baby especially at night when he just wants to be held. We turned this on and within 5 minutes he was quiet and we wasn't having to hold him for him not to scream. We was shocked how well this worked and how fast. It's easy to use and has a volume button and different shushers. The longer shush worked better for our baby. It did kinda creap us out when we first turned it on but whatever works so we can get some sleep.

Really works! Soothing Sounds
At first I thought there was no way this can actually help calm her but I was totally surprised when it worked. It’s really easy to us and I love the little strap so I can attach it to the car seat or stroller when we’re out and about. At first I was concerned with the design but it’s very simple and everything is contained so I feel safe using it. It’s my new go to for baby showers! because we honestly can’t live with out it!

Easy to use!

Portable and lightweight. Natural shhing sound
I got this for nights when i can't be home in time for bedtime for our baby. This has helped tremendously for my partner in calming and soothing our baby. The natural shhing sound is comforting and the volume can be adjusted. I live that its small and has a wrist band so we can hold it while carrying baby. This also has a night light sothats helpful when using it in the dark. I would recommend to others.

Awesome item to have on hand.
I love having this around for travel and to keep in the car for our busy afternoons. I have two older kids and we are always on the go. The easy of use and ability to throw this in our bag on the run is what makes this top notch for us.

Baby Shusher
I never used a baby shusher with my first two kids, but with my third baby I thought I would give it a try. I love this thing!! It helps to engage a babies natural calming reflex. It is small, portable and can be used anywhere. It has a 15 minute setting, as well as a 30 minute setting. The shushing noise is nice and quiet, not super loud. This is a must on any baby registry.

Couldn't imagine life without the now!
I bought this for my niece who just had her first baby a month ago. I bought it solely based on a blogger that I follow who said and I quote "we don't go anywhere without it"... That's all I needed to hear to satisfy my purchase. You better now for about 2 weeks and it's always wherever the baby is. They said it comes my nephew down when the changes diaper. It helps him sleep and just provides great white noise. It's ridiculously easy to use. Three notches are for 30 minutes, 15 minutes, and off, it's basically goof proof..lol!

Great Tool To Help Baby Sleep
This was a great tool for our 17 month old daughter. It really helped her to keep from crying and it helped her sleep through the night! I enjoyed how easy it was to set it near her crib, where she couldn't touch it of course and how clear it sounded and how it made her sleep quickly. I also liked how easy it was to turn it on and off when we needed to. I would recommend this to anyone that has a newborn or older baby!
