A: How to Change the Batteries in Your Baby Shusher What you’ll need: 1 Phillips screwdriver 2 new AA batteries Steps: 1. Remove the top cap – The battery compartment is under the top cap. Locate the screw in the top-center, unscrew using your Phillips screwdriver, and lift off the cap. 2. Release the battery clip – Press the tab to release the clip holding the batteries in place. 3. Remove the batteries – Turn the unit upside down so the batteries slide out. 4. Insert new batteries – Place the new AA batteries in the same orientation as the old ones. 5. Replace the battery clip – Snap the clip back into position to secure the batteries. 6. Reattach the top cap – Screw the top back in place. Tip: Do not overtighten; if the top won’t turn, slightly loosen the screw until the device powers on. 7. Test your Baby Shusher – Turn it on to make sure it works properly. Great for new babies
This is a baby registry must-have! The baby shusher does just that without a bunch of other unnecessary features. It’s simple and does the job! My youngest often fidgets a lot trying to soothe himself to sleep but this shusher helps to calm and wind him down for sleep. It has a timer and volume control with a wide bottom to use as a stand. It’s perfect and a life saver for all sleep deprived parents and caretakers of little ones. Highly recommend!

Works great!

Amazing “shushing”
Amazing product for babies and toddlers who are able to be “shushed” to sleep! My baby does not like her car seat so when she finally does fall asleep she is easily startled. We have to make the “shushing” sound quick and for a few minutes to keep her asleep. This product does it all for you and it sounds perfectly realistic! Compact size is perfect for on the go!

Effective sleep tool
I was a bit skeptical of the effectiveness of the Baby Shusher, but I have been desperate with my daughter, so I gave this a try. It actually works to calm her down and go to sleep much sooner than she had been. This is portable, so it can be used in different rooms of the house or while traveling. It has timers for 15 and 30 minutes, but I wish it could be activated by an app-then I would say it is perfect.

Only one setting
Babies love to be shushed (seriously) and this gadget is so helpful when baby is in the car seat or stroller and I can’t close by to do it myself. Unfortunately this machine only has one setting, a man’s voice doing a consistent four second shush on repeat. I wish it also had another shorter shush for when baby is upset. The instructions come with an FAQ page that is helpful in knowing how to use the shusher. Best for ages newborn to four months.

Must have at home
This little machine works just fine, been using for the last week and it has helped me prolonging the sleep time of my grandson whatsoever I with the speaker was located some how on the side of the machine instead is in the bottom part of it, so if you want to place it standing you need to turn the volume all the way up but other than that it really help with your baby chores

Wonderful, realistic shushing machine
This Baby Shusher Sleep Soother Sound Machine is such a great extra to have for my baby. It sounds like a real “shushing” sound, so it works well! It has the ability to raise and lower the volume as well as a timer so it’s not on endlessly. It has an added cord handle for convenience, but it is removable which is nice if you’re worried about the cord issue. My baby loves this machine and it really helps when I’m too tired to keep the shushing going myself. I set it beside her crib and it works well. I would definitely recommend it!

Great for fussy babies!
This device is awesome for helping sooth fussy babies and babies that can't fall asleep on their own. For my past kids I shushed them to sleep or used something on my phone, but this is o much better. The controls are easy to use and understand. I love that the volume can be adjusted. I also really like the small size and strap so I can bring this with me in the car or stroller, etc.

Very satisfied and plan to keep using it
I received the Shusher for free from the Hey, Bullseye program in exchange for my honest review. After using it consistently for the past week with my almost 3-week-old baby, I’m impressed. They don’t seem to mind the rhythmic “shushing” sound at all—in fact, it seems to soothe them. We even brought it along to the zoo while they were in the stroller bassinet, and stayed relaxed the whole time. With two energetic older siblings who are often noisy both indoors and outdoors, the Shusher helps block out the background sounds and allows them to nap peacefully through all the activity. Overall, we’re very satisfied with the Shusher and plan to keep using it as part of our daily routine.

A saving grace for my daughter and her fussy moments!
This has been a saving grace for me. I have a 14 month old daughter who can get fussy at times. It uses two AA batteries that are included. It has two timer options to go for 15 or 30 minutes. When she gets fussy I will hold her and shush and then hand her this device while shushing. It makes a sound that says “shush” over and over and she will hold it and just stare at it. It does great at comforting her. Very happy with how it has helped calm our daughter during some of her fussing moments. Thank you.

Really Shhh-es
I got to try this Baby Shusher for free but the opinions here are based on my own experiences. This looks like a little rocket shaped toy. The kids like to hold it. It cimes with batteries already in it. It has the ability to turn it on and ajust the volume. The shushing is melodic and repeating. It is literally what it says it is. Just an automatic shusher sound machine. It can stand upright or be laid somewhere. For some babies this might be good for calming and for white noise.

Amazing!!
This thing is amazing to say the least!! We have a colicky one and nothing, and I mean nothing has worked for him. I received this baby shusher and put it right to work. At first it did nothing so I figured maybe I overwhelmed him a bit. The next day I took him to a quiet room and played it very quietly when he wasn't crying. Not even 10 minutes later he started up with the crying. He was fed, had a dry diaper and was being entertained by another child in the house. I got the baby shusher, turned it on and was going to scoop him up but he wasn't crying anymore! Amazing! He was sound asleep 20-30 minutes later. I really like this thing because I can bring it with me anywhere as it's battery powered. You can attach it practically anywhere, we take it in the car all the time.. This product has made the house a peaceful household. I can now enjoy the baby and not be so stressed out by the constant screaming. Definitely recommend it! Even if you don't have a baby that cries a lot. It's very helpful if you need to get things done and you have a clingy/whining baby. GET IT! Get it for yourself, get it for a friend and it makes a great baby shower gift. They will love it too. I have moms coming up to me everywhere asking about it. Its good quality and they even send YOU the first set of batteries :+)

Sounds realistic

Human shushing sound
Decent bed/night-time aid for babies. We've used several different lullaby and white noise devices. This one differs in that it is an actual human producing the shushing ("Sh") sound. May work better than lullabies or white noise with babies who want reassurance of their "parent" being present and shushing them to sleep. Convenient as you can easily take it along on travels.

something different that makes life easier
I received this product from heybullseye for review. This product was a very pleasant surprise, as I didn't think it would work as well as advertised, and I must say I was surprised because it has helped me a lot. Helpful tool
My daughter is not a fan of white noise machines, but of course like most babies, loves the shh shhh sound of Mommy! This babyshusher works like a dream. You can adjust the volume as well as the length of the shh sound.
