  • A: How to Change the Batteries in Your Baby Shusher What you’ll need: 1 Phillips screwdriver 2 new AA batteries Steps: 1. Remove the top cap – The battery compartment is under the top cap. Locate the screw in the top-center, unscrew using your Phillips screwdriver, and lift off the cap. 2. Release the battery clip – Press the tab to release the clip holding the batteries in place. 3. Remove the batteries – Turn the unit upside down so the batteries slide out. 4. Insert new batteries – Place the new AA batteries in the same orientation as the old ones. 5. Replace the battery clip – Snap the clip back into position to secure the batteries. 6. Reattach the top cap – Screw the top back in place. Tip: Do not overtighten; if the top won’t turn, slightly loosen the screw until the device powers on. 7. Test your Baby Shusher – Turn it on to make sure it works properly.     A miracle product

    As soon as our baby was born we noticed that he always calmed down when my husband would “shhhh” him gently, and eventually would fall asleep to the sound. My husband found this product and it works like magic. We use it almost every nap time and when going to sleep at night and it works so well. I was skeptical at first but now this tops my list of “best products” that I’ve purchased for my baby.

    Shhhhhh

    The baby shusher is TOP TEIR. This is my second baby shusher. We have one stocked in the diaper bag and one for at home to have on hand at any time. somethin about a baby hearing “shhhh” really helps them settle, or while out and about makes them tune out the rest of the noise. Highly recommend this little bit mighty baby product!

    This wasn't for me, but may be for you!

    I honestly didn't care for this product. My child didn't like it or respond to it like I thought they might. I did love that it's portable & easy to use though. I like the simple color scheme & the little firefly graphic is adorable.

    Perfect thing to calmly soothe a little one!

    Wonderfully simple and easy to use! This white noise machine has a real voice shushing rhythmically for 15 or 30 min. I can control the volume by silently twisting it. To switch from 15 to 30 min does create a click that could wake the baby but the noise is much more soothing than static or white noise.

    Helpful and soothing

    It is portable and lightweight. I keep it in my bag when we go out or travel. When my baby is too tired or fighting sleep, the sound helps to soothe my baby. It is very user intuitive and easy to use.

    Baby Shusher

    I received this baby shusher a couple weeks ago, i absolutely love it !! When my baby is cranky and fighting sleep, i can turn this on ,and it calms her , i highly recommend this product!! It makes a great gift !

    Great baby product.

    I think this is a great item for babies having a hard time falling asleep. It also helps you not have to keep shushing all night long! It really comes in handy when having a little one. Also it fits great in your purse or diaper bag.

    Oddly effective

    Does what it says, although i was shocked. It seemed creepy when i read about it lol but it honestly works all of the magic. When i cant be in the room and the little needs some soothing this comes in a pinch!

    Great for helping babies sleep!

    This is a great way to get my baby to fall asleep fast in my arms, and keep her asleep for a long time! This lightweight baby shusher utilizes real, humanlike voices to act as a pacifier for babies. It’s convenient to bring along wherever I go and is my new must have baby items. The design is very cool and modern too. Overall, this is an excellent product to allow my baby to sleep soundly!

    Interesting baby device

    This is a pretty interesting device. It reacts so baby’s cry with a shushing sound. It uses batteries as the power source, which makes it very portable. I do worry about the battery life and wish there was an option to plug it in when it is just in the nursery overnight.

    Quite Baby

    This is a perfect addition to must-haves for a new baby. The sound can be turned up or down and the shushing noise is just like a really person, it pauses to take a breath. My 5 and 8 year old wanted to use it in their room!

    Not For Our Baby

    I really wanted this to work well. While our son responded to us "Shushing" for some reason he just really didn't respond to this one. It may just seem too artificial. I can certainly see this working for some people. Just not for us.

    Worth a shot!

    I was introduced to the baby shusher by my newborn photographer and had to grab one for my own baby. They are a nice tool to have in your “please stop crying” toolbox. Probably not for every kid, but this little device is handy and worth a shot. Easy to use, compact and sometimes game changing.

    Great baby shusher!

    I’d prefer a portable white noise machine.

    Pros: It’s effective, portable, and the noise level dimmer works great. Cons: It doesn’t have a flat surface to stand up/lay it down. If you stand it up as the product picture shows, it muffles the sound too much. It rolls over but eventually stops when you lay it on its side. The timer dial clicks and it’s pretty loud! I wish there were various shushing rhythms, like some short shushing instead of only a repeated long one.

    Really works

    I gave this to my friend for her baby and she loves it. Its portable so you can take it anywhere and it engages the baby's natural calming reflux.     Human shhh sound

    This baby shusher obviously has a human shush sound, I know they have a newer version but in regards to this version, I think this is great pick if you are traveling and won't have access to a charging port for a while. This one, you can change the batteries as soon as they run out of power. In addition, you'll need a screwdriver to replace the batteries which is great as I don't want them to be easily accessible by my kid if he happens to wake up before I do and plays quietly in his room. I like the minimal time so kids don't grow accustomed to or reliant on it.

    Awesomeness

    I honestly thought this was a hilarious purchase that wouldn't help anything. But it's been a huge game changer in the car seat! My 8 month old has gone from screaming every trip, to peaceful and often sleeping or just relaxed.

    Baby shusher

    At first when i received my baby shusher i was a bit skeptical if it was gonna work for my baby. To my surprise it actually works. When she is fussy i turn it on and she quiets down. I love yhat tou can control the volume. It also shuts off on its own after a while. If you are a parent with a fussy baby i definitely recommend this device for you.
