Baby Trend Deluxe II Nursery Center Portable Playard

Only received the crib, mattress, and changing table. Missing bassinet assembly, and canopy assembly. The two reasons I bought this crib. If I wanted just a crib I would have spent a LOT less money.

I am missing part of the bassinet and would like further information on how to fix this issue.

I’ve currently been using this for about 2 months now as a bassinet for my newborn to sleep next to me, and hoped to continue to use it the coming years as well. I just recently noticed the board/mattress broke I’m assuming during a sheet change. It is basically like plywood pieces inside the material. the one end separated and I can no longer lay my baby down comfortably and safely as the mattress is uneven and the hard piece will dig into either her head or her lower back depending which way i lay her down. I will be attempting to contact the company for a replacement mat.

I really like this pack and play. My son enjoys the music and sounds. The only thing is the vibrations, he is not a fan. The changer is good and he still can fit on it at 4 months. Only issue is when wiping the pad down it water stained underneath with using just a disinfectant wipe. Can make this better.

The instructions are a nightmare and very hard to follow, I thought the price point would get me a decent pack n play but this just feels really cheap. The bassinet seems flimsy, the mattress is like a board which I get it’s supposed to be firm but this is like zero padding. It says it can hold 30 lbs but I’m hesitant to put that to the test. We plan to use this in our main living area but if I were planning on using it for travel this would not do. It is cumbersome and took twice as long to set up as it should’ve. I’m stuck between keeping it bc it’s already been set up vs returning it for something better

Setting this up was… okay. It didn’t take long but there are definitely some annoyances: - Velcro at the bottom of the mattress. You’re instructed to feed the Velcro straps into these very small seams at the bottom of the base. VERY annoying to get them through. AND you don’t learn until later in the set up guide that if you’re going to use the bassinet mode, the mattress isn’t going to be placed at the bottom anyway so doing that whole Velcro bottom step wasn’t necessary. - The canopy is smashed up pretty bad. You really need to smooth out the canopy so the points don’t look all triangular. It’s not neatly semi-circle style the way the product photo shows. It’s more Dorito shaped. But you can attempt to make it the right shape. With a lot of time and patience. I took a photo of what it looks like after smoothing/maneuvering it for a while. - Wrinkly Boy is this thing wrinkly. It doesn’t look very neat and tidy. Every element is crinkled/wrinkled. I’d be worried to use a steam machine or something on it. Idk how the fabric will react. Maybe with time it smooths out but… sheesh. - The mattress is… firm. This mattress is safe for infants surely, but the fabric on it is not nice. I’d recommend grabbing a separate play yard mattress and buying a fitted sheet. If I were a baby idk I know I don’t know anything but, that mattress would be bogus to me. - The wheels are so smooth. Like butter. They did a great job with that. - Adding batteries to the music/light device. This was so cruel. Idk why you would make the batteries so difficult to put in. The device itself is shaped so that it can snuggly fit and snap into place for the longer flatter panels. Which means it’s basically in the shape of a hook. So they put the battery portion on the INNER part of this device. You need a screw to open the battery tab and then 4 AA batteries are place inside. Because the shape is so awkward, getting the batteries in SUCKS. Mainly for the ones where the negative side of the battery needs to hit the coil. Sooo annoying. - The vibration on the device is so lame. It’s mainly vibrating the panel the device is placed on. If you touch the mattress, nothing is happening. - The changing table does not feel safe. It just doesn’t. And the safety straps are not smooth. The tab to lock the straps together need a good amount of force to be undone. Probably not going to be fun to do when you’re sleep deprived. - The diaper caddy is very convenient. I like the diaper caddy and space pockets they provide. It’ll certainly get used. - The light on the device is super dim. Maybe it’s enough, it doesn’t seem like it to me. Baby isn’t here yet so idk. I took a photo. Overall, you get what you pay for. And you’re not going to get this neat and tidy looking play yard from the product photo. While setting this up, I kept thinking, welp, this is cheap… kinda felt guilty. I added photos of the light, the canopy shape, the wrinkly-ness of it all… idk. It’s very convenient but I don’t think I can recommend this. I’d rather have gotten other elements that achieved what this product is supposed to do. But when you have limited space, you have to make sacrifices.

This came in handy to keep on the first level of our home so we would have something downstairs rather than having to carry the baby to the nursery. Only complaints are that the bassinet attachment didn’t feel as secure as I’d like (we didn’t end up using for sleep) and could move slightly as well as we had to exchange the first one we bought because some of the snaps were warped and wouldn’t close properly. The changing table helped quite a bit and we had the inside for storage briefly. Planning to keep it to use for travel with baby.

Mattress got dirty after first use. Spot cleaning did not get rid of stain. Not sure how manufacturer could design crib without removable cover or at least stain resistant fabric.

Overall, I’m happy with my purchase, the playyard has a lot of features I like including a changing table that you can tuck away, a bassinet, and the diaper caddy which makes for easy organization. Two things I don’t love: I wish there was a way to adjust the height of the entire playyard and the changing table is not my favorite. Because of how low the playyard is, my husband and I both have to lean down really far when changing our daughter which ends up hurting our mid 30’s backs (makes me feel so old! haha). The changing table itself doesn’t seem very flat, my daughter always rolls to the right as soon as she’s set down. Additionally, there’s no protective cover that you can take off and clean and it’s not machine washable. If your child has an accident on the changing table, the only option is to scrub it. That doesn’t seem efficient for a changing table. Aside from those two things I really like the playyard.

Easy to assemble and many cute features

So far love this. Haven’t had my baby yet but the set up is very neat. The organizer and concept is very helpful for those who like to enjoy many features at once. I love the sound machine with the vibration and night light too. Couple things though, the mattress is a bit thin so i did purchase a different mattress to use in the bassinet for my baby. Also, putting the bassinet and canopy were both a little difficult to get snapped in on the sides, but everything else was easy when I followed the YouTube video. Can’t wait to meet my baby to enjoy this!

Extremely dangerous. Bassinet fell through with only a little weight. Would never put a baby in it!!! HORRIBLE!!!!

Good quality, but a little difficult to assemble

We use this for our 5 month great grandson and enjoy it tremendously. It meets our needs

this is super cute and my daughter loves it but it's missing the diaper and wipes caddy, as well as the lights and sounds part. This isn't machine washable so any stains that are made, if you can't clean them with dawn dish soap and water your pretty much in trouble for making this smell and look better. very sad that i didn't get what I thought I paid for...

Easy to assemble. Great playpen easy to move around from room to room because of the wheels.

I loved this pack n play!! I mean look at it sooo cute! However, my little girl was playing in it one day, she stood up and gently leaned over to one side and it completely fell apart. The rail came unhatched and since she was leaning, it fell over on its side. My daughter is on the smaller side and was less than 20 lbs. Thankfully no one was hurt but it did take a minute for me and my daughter to both calmed down. I have put this pack n play together hundreds of times and it was definitely hatched when I put her in there. All in all to say be careful especially cause baby trend will not replace your defected item and definitely can’t replace your baby from their products that malfunction!

It was a present for my lil sister haven’t been use jet cause the baby is not here jet but she did her research & was hoping some would choose this for a gift so I did!. Can’t wait to use this when me nephew arrives.
