It offers 3 speeds and several sound settings, which help soothe and entertain the baby. The safety is decent, though nothing extra, but for the few months a baby actually uses a swing, it does the job. One downside is that it says a headrest is included, but mine didn’t come with one, which was disappointing. It’s not something that’s meant to last for years, but for the short time it’s needed, it works great and makes things easier.

He is a big baby so he will hit the 20lb weight limit before the 9 month age limit. It did come with a few stains on it as pictured. Removed a star because it only has one setting for the motion speed and the straps don’t always click in like they’re supposed to. But overall, my nephew enjoys being in it so I’ll call it a win!

It comes with a small remote to control it, or there are buttons on the back close to the battery compartment. That was the real star of the show for me. There's an option to use batteries or connect it to an outlet. Its also really light weight and easy to move from room to room, with most of its weight being in the center, where you place baby down. My only complaint is I didn't get this soon enough, my baby has already out grown it!!!

I love how light way and easy it is to move. Would be great to use in an apartment or smaller house if you are limited on space. It does the same as my baby swing. It’s nice that it has a remote. The only downside is having to be plugged in. Overall, this will get good use for a reasonable price.

The Baby Trend Sit N’ Sway Portable Swing is great for those times I’ve got to get something done and I need the baby to have a safe place to be. I love the remote it comes with so I can control the motion of the swing from afar. It’s also a plus that it can either be plugged in or take batteries. The only downside is the base. I feel like there should be more solid support to the frame, like a bucket seat, instead of just fitting the seat cover over the basic frame.

He doesn’t look squished at all and it feels like it’s still supporting him really well which is nice since a lot of stuff maxes out fast once they hit this age. Pros • Super lightweight and easy to move around the house • Folds up quickly when you need the space back • Sway motion is calm and smooth really helps him settle when he’s fussy • Even though he’s getting heavier, it still feels sturdy and accommodates his weight comfortably (it’s rated up to around 20-25 lbs) Cons • The music options are kind of meh (we barely use them) • Battery drains faster if you keep the motion on for long stretches. • It’s more for calming than entertaining so if your baby needs bells and whistles, it might not be enough on its own. Overall though, it’s been super handy and totally worth having around, especially for those moments when you just need a hands-free minute.

My baby seems like he is super comfortable in this swing and he loves the side to side motion. He started kicking his little feet as soon as I turned the music in and started the movement he doesn’t have fine motor skills yet but you could tell he wanted to touch the toys so bad.
