Troubleshooting Tips: SWING WON’T OPERATE: 1. No batteries in swing. 2. Batteries dead. 3. Speed setting too low. 4. Batteries in backwards — check “+” and “-”. 5. Corrosion on battery terminals. Rotate batteries in place against terminals, or clean with sandpaper or steel wool if corrosion is severe. 6. Baby grabbing swing legs. (Discontinue use.) 7. Push swing to start. SEAT DOESN’T SWING VERY HIGH: 1. Control setting too low. 2. Blanket hanging down, causing increased wind resistance. 3. Batteries too weak. 4. Baby too heavy or too active. (Discontinue use.) 5. Soft carpet (swings higher on hard floor.

Motor stops working after 3 months
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my baby (now 4 1/2 months) and it worked fine until about 2 weeks ago. If I have it plugged in, or with the batteries, or even both with the batteries as a back up, it just doesn’t turn on anymore. Mind you, I have two of this model swing, one for my house and one for my parents and BOTH have this issue. Considering I couldn’t even use it until she was about a month old, I haven’t even gotten more than 3 months of use out of it. Definitely not worth it if your baby is one who is a big fan of the swing as mine is.

Terrible instructions and product
Terrible product. Assembly instructions are literally trash, product is cheaply made and broke immediately. Save yourself the trouble and buy something that isn’t Graco.

Broken after a few months of use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was gifted this swing for my baby shower, my baby enjoys swinging in it for a few minutes a day, but I am extremely disappointed that the swing will not work, I’ve only had it for a few months my daughter is only 4 months old and she is well below the weight limit and we didn’t even set this swing up until she was around a month old but I went to turn the swing on today and it won’t work, tried unplugging the cord, tried a different outlet and it just will not work. This was one of the only “containers” we use for my daughter when I just need to put her down for a few minutes so I’m really disappointed that we can’t use it anymore.

Overall disappointed and its noisy
We received this item as a gift and all it does is squeak. It also seems like the different swing levels dont change, level 1 swings just as fast as level 6. Super disappointed.

Broken after less than 10 uses
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first son who is under 2 didn’t care for this swing so we hardly ever used it. Now that my second son is here the swing is broken. We plug it in and it won’t turn on! We even bought a new adapter but it’s still broken. I assume it’s a motor issue. The exact same thing happened with our Graco bassinet. Broken for no reason in less than 2 years with little use.

squeaking after only a month
i bought this about a month ago and my daughter is only 13 lbs and its squeaking and clicking now. it used to be the only thing that put her to sleep and now the squeaking is so loud it just keeps her up.

Danger
It will start smoking. Wonderful swing but started smelling smoke and got super hot please don’t buy . Wouldn’t have noticed if we weren’t close by.

Great swing if it worked
The swing stopped working and we can’t get any support from Graco:( we think the motor is bad. Sadly, our baby loved the swing and it always put him to sleep.
