Graco Simple Sway Baby Swing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this swing 6 years ago with my first son and he loved it, so when I had my second baby this year I already knew which swing to get. I remember the swing picking up off the floor a bit with my first son but this swing is squeaking so loudly and sometimes it seems like the swing is struggling to sway, I wish I had gone with a different swing this time around. My baby loves swinging it’s almost the only way he can sleep sometimes but the squeaking is ruining it. I have recommended this swing to my mom friends but I honestly wouldn’t with the way this swing is making so much noise

okay honestly i LOVE this swing !! someone got it off my registry but i didn’t use it until my baby was about 2 months and she lovessss it !! it has recently started to lift about a centimeter off the ground when it rocks but small problem to a faint so im not worried! anyways its very portable in my own opinion, i’ve taken to friends houses when i know staying a few because my baby literally will not nap longer than 20-30min if she’s not in her swing ! minor imperfections but overall a great product in my opinion 😊!!

Stopped working after 2 months.

This is unfortunately the third swing I've owned from Graco. The first one was a hand me down and stopped working, I assumed it was old. Had another kid and bought a second, it also stopped working, now two years later I have a third kid and stupidly thought they would have upped their quality and it has now stopped working. Light barely flickers and the thing won't turn on after about two months of use. Don't buy it, get one that actually works.

This swing’s motor stopped working after 5 months of use. My baby is only 5 months old and not even close to the max weight. When I first got it, it worked fine and seemed to do well. Things you should know before you buy: you cannot adjust the swing to go back and forth, it only goes side to side. The mobile does not move on this product and there are no lights. It does have an AC cord but it still requires batteries for the vibration. I bought this swing because it goes up to 30 pounds but the motor blew out at less than 15 lbs.

Horrible instructions makes this harder than it needs to be to put together. The stars that dangle do not move on their own so you have to keep manually moving it. Vibrator does not work!! Straps cannot come off so its uncomfortable to lay on for babies. Swing motor makes a noise the entire time it is on. The swing levels do not matter because once baby is on swing, it slows down (my baby is 10lbs) when I take baby off it swings much further. It also takes up so much space, base is very wide, the width of an oven. It is not portable at all, unless taken apart (and putting it together already sucks.) Baby does like to be rocked, but I have to put a blanket underneath because it is deep. overall I give it a 4/10.

Swing stop working. I can hear the motor running but swing isn’t working. I’ve only used it for 3 months.

Idk why someone would decide to put little tags on each star , makes it look stupid and they are not easily removable. Pretty annoying and I'm just shocked that some imbecile though that it was a good idea for all these stupid tags on the eye catching stars. Be smarter

Have had this swing in use for 10 weeks and today it stopped working. Not to mention the vibration function never worked. I'm upset cause the swing worked really well to soothe our son and is a vital piece of equipment to help soothe him when his fussy. Wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing :((

Absolute nightmare to put together. The instructions that come with it are impossible to follow. We had to look up a video. The finished product looks fine. I sure hope our baby likes it

We bought this a few years ago for our first child, and liked it at first. After a few months (with infrequent use) the motor started squeaking. Shortly thereafter he grew out of it and it went into storage. We just got it out again for our second son and I was reminded of our disappointment in the purchase. The speed is inconsistent, and the noise is terrible. I can't justify spending half the cost of a new unit on a replacement motor that'd likely have the same issues.

Stopped working randomly. Got this as a gift at my baby shower and only got to use it 3 or 4 times before it stopped turning on. My baby isn’t even two months old. I don’t have the capacity to deal with this and a newborn baby. After reading the comments, I agree that the lowest function is too fast. The mobile doesn’t even spin! The noises offered aren’t louder than the sound of the motor rocking either. I’m disappointed and frustrated with this Graco Swing.

I received this swing from a friend brand new and used it for 2 months, currently it won’t power on no matter what troubleshooting I do. Do not buy.

100% would recommend! This got us through many long nights and has worked for over a year now!

Not designed well for newborn babies. There is very little head support. My son leans from one side to the other. Swings to fast in low speed (1) and after a short period of time and use, it is creaking and sounds like it is going to break. Not well made. Not worth the money.

baby swing has been an absolute lifesaver! From the moment we set it up, it became a favorite spot for our little one. The gentle swaying motion is incredibly soothing and has worked wonders in calming fussiness and lulling our baby to sleep. What I appreciate most is the simplicity of the design. It's easy to assemble, doesn't take up a ton of space, and the different sway speeds offer just the right amount of motion for various moods. The soft fabrics are cozy and seem very comfortable for our baby. The added features, like the option for gentle vibrations and the overhead mobile, are a nice touch and provide a little extra engagement. It's also surprisingly quiet, which is a huge plus when you're trying to create a peaceful environment.
