This one was it!!
I bought the munchkin swing for my newborn and he was okay with it for the last 3 weeks. He liked it but wasn't in LOVE with it like he is with this Graco one. I realized all baby swings have horrible reviews even the one I originally bought and this one. anyways... my son was super upset as my husband put this swing together and nothing was soothing him but as soon as he finished and we sat him in it. it felt like a hug, luxurious, and soft. He immediately calmed down and I was able to take a shower and he was awake and happy when I got out and I am writing this review as we speak. I'm telling you I bought a rocking bassinet, a bouncer, toys but nothing came close to a peaceful shower as when I sat him in this swing. I hope this review helps someone out.

Wish the seat was locked in
Baby isn’t here yet to know how well it works but upon putting it together, the seat is only resting on the swing. It’s not latched or anything. With that being said we nudged the side of the seat a bunch with different levels of force and it didn’t move.

Love the feature that the seat can rotate to face different directions, allows us to keep him from looking at the tv screen, but depending on where we are sitting in the living room he can always be turned toward someone to look at.

vibration inoperative
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were gifted this for our daughter 3 years go, and she LOVED the swing. I did have to change batteries in the bouncer quite often in order to use the vibration option. I just stopped using that all together because I was going through so many. We are due with our second baby next week, so I took the swing out to get it ready for this baby. I put new batteries in to see if it would work, and the vibration part doesn't work at all now. We have had no other issues with this swing though.

Disappointed
My baby really likes this swing, but sadly I’ve only been using it for 2 months and its already falling apart. It started making a super loud creaking sound when swinging and one of the legs now lifts which isn’t very safe! Also the vibration feature is completely pointless - it barely vibrates at all.

This item stopped working after a month of use. It starts to make this sound where it sounds like the swing is stuck. Then it started to lift up from the floor and the swing basket moves where baby fell on her face. Worst investment ever!! This is crap for a lack of better words.

I believed being able to pull the chair straight up without locks was unsafe but it was very sturdy and never moved when my older kids would move it or push it. Terrible Swing!!!
I am on my 5th swing!!! The reason we keep purchasing is because our baby boy loves this swing. I’ve always gone with Graco for all my baby needs and this has been nothing but a disappointment and a huge inconvenience! He is our 4th baby, and with our previous children we’ve always had a Graco swing with no problems, but FIVE swings!!??? And mind you each swing we get will work for about anywhere from 2-4 weeks and then stops for no reason. This last one didn’t even work the first time we put him in and hour after we got home from the store with it. Highly aggravating!

Wore Down Quickly
I’ve used this swing for 2 years for 2 babies. My first one it worked great although from the beginning, the button has to be pressed very hard to get it to turn off and on at times which is annoying. My second baby is only 3 months old and now whenever I put him in it to swing it creaks so loudly and now the button is even more difficult to press to turn it on/off. Idk if the creaking is just wear and tear because we heavily relied on it with both babies but it’s driving me insane now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we got this as a gift for our now 4 month old, and she absolutely loves it. it’s comfortable, it’s quiet, it gives us peace of mind, and it does its job. i appreciate that we’re able to adjust her position and which way she’s facing, as well as the multiple speed functions. additionally, the portable bouncer is great when you need to move baby from room to room. i’m sorry for all of the people who had poor experiences, but i’m grateful we had a good experience.

Do not buy this swing.
If I could give this swing 0 stars I would. We’ve used this swing for 7 months and the motor has already stopped working twice. It starts making an awful clicking sound and within a few days it stops swinging completely. Happened both times that the motor stopped working. This swing cost way too much money to have this many bad reviews with the exact same problem. I’ve had an in home daycare for 15 years and have been a mom myself for 12 years and this is the worst swing I’ve ever come across. Save your money. Do not buy this swing! It’s not worth the trouble & Gracos horrible customer service.
