Graco Slim Spaces Compact Baby Swing

This product is very unsafe after two months of constant use. The light on the swing, began blinking and turned to the highest setting, and the swing started swinging very fast. Please read the reviews on this product. I would hate to see a baby seriously hurt using this Graco product. Unfortunately, we are out of money And will no longer be utilizing this Graco product due to the extreme concerns of safety. There is no recall as of yet with this product, but it seems to be a common reoccurring issue on most models with no resolution. I was unable to attach videos to this review, but I took photos showing the swing.

If I could give this a zero star rating I would. I bought this for my Son two months ago. And the light starts flashing and it speeds up. This is super unsafe. I do not recommend this product at all. Absolutely horrible should be recalled. They shouldn’t even be sold whatsoever. What a waste of my money.

I bought this swing when I had my daughter a few years ago and recently pulled it out for my newborn son. The light on it kept blinking, and even on the lowest setting, the thing was swinging WILDLY!! I changed the batteries, same issue. It also started to smell like burnt plastic, obviously I removed my infant and the batteries and chucked it in the garage. Wondering what could have happened had I walked away and not smelled the burning plastic? Honestly I am livid and now seeing other reviews with the same issues has me even more upset. Why has Graco done NOTHING to resolve this? This swing needs to be recalled immediately.

Works flawlessly for two weeks now. I was concerned given all of the reviews stating swing would go rogue and revert to highest setting at random. I have seen no instances of that, thankfully. Baby likes this swinging motion so much better than the wimpy side-to-side motion of other swings. Also, it works great on rechargeable batteries. A huge plus. 4 D batteries, as this isn’t really clearly noted on any sales info I saw. They last over a week of continuous use, so you’re not constantly changing them out. Grab a set while you’re buying the swing.

I loved the fact that it supported my daughter even when she was just a little bean. It was nice to be able to choose the speed. She’s currently 1 year old and still fits in it and has used it basically her whole life haha. It’s been amazing and super helpful to put her asleep in when I need to get her brother down for a nap also. Super easy set up and take down. If you want to put it away for a little bit it basically folds flat so if your couch is a little higher off the ground you could just put it under the couch and take it out later.

Baby has only used it a handful of times. Brand new batteries and it won’t swing anymore. Biggest waste of money. Very disappointing since Graco is such a well known company.

Be aware: the one stars are not fake. I got this for my sister and my newborn nephew, and she had told me that this issue is and even sent me a video. OMG I’m so surprised Target and this brand company has not even taken it off the website. Do not buy this product. Out of curiosity, I had ask my sister to let the batter run its course and send me a video as proof if the swing does have an issue. It swings so fast that I had to ask my sister if the video was sent 2x time speed capture, it swings faster than a child being on a playground sitting on a swing outside. So no I won’t be keeping this and asking for a return. If anyone is interested in the video, I can send video as photo does not do justice.

Received this as a gift for our newborn, and it has stopped working after 3 weeks. Similar issues to others have posted; blinking red light, randomly stops and then turns back on super fast. I also have a terrible time opening the place to put new batteries in. Really concerning as it's meant for the most fragile people; yet it seems many are having the same concerns and issues. It's great for size though. I loved how tall it was, so I didn't have to bend over too much. Love how it folds up to be stored away if you need the space. Baby loved it when it would work.

This product worked great….for just a few weeks. Out of nowhere, the light began to flash and the swing sped up faster than the highest setting. Very unsafe. Luckily, we were paying attention when this first happened. Hate to imagine what would have occurred if we weren’t so vigilant. Do not buy. No recalls listed for this product yet it seems there are so many reviews with this exact issue.

I was really on the fence about the swing because of the reviews but I am so glad I got it. This swing is light weight, durable and easy to haul around room to room. My baby girl loves to swing and this inexpensive and perfect! I originally had the Nuna Leaf, but because it doesn’t swing on its own my baby didn’t care for it as much. I recommend this product and get the higher quality batteries and you’ll have no problem!

Same issue as others have pointed out: randomly on its own starts swinging faster and faster while red light is blinking. Can't figure out why, extremely unsafe!!! They should recall this product!!!!!

Started swinging fast on its own

Have only been using it for 3 months. The blinking light thing happened and swing started accelerating faster and faster while on lowest setting. Tried changing batteries and no difference. This swing is dangerous. 2 starts only because my baby loved sleeping in it while it worked.

I can’t believe this product isn’t recalled, when its batteries are dying the swing starts swinging incredibly aggressive and is dangerous. After all these reviews it’s odd it’s still being sold. This is also both my kids favorite place to be when they’re young, the only place they would chill out (colic kids). just get another similar model and not this one.

Not sure why theres so many negative reviews on this if this has got to be one of the best swings ever made. Huge life saver. At least it was back in 2017. I’d like to try this again with my 2nd child.

Bought this swing which when assembled was kind of flimsy but my baby loved it so it was great. The lowest setting worked best for us as anything faster terrified the baby. On the third day of use the red light started flashing and the swing picked up speed on its own?? The baby wasn’t strapped as it was the lowest setting but it picked up speed on its own and became so fast that my baby was about to fall off. I’m glad I was sitting right next to her to quickly turn it off and get my baby out. I was terrified and so was she! I honestly did not expect this from graco as I’ve bought multiple items before and they’ve all been great. I’m so so disappointed. Please do NOT buy this swing. It’s dangerous.
