baggallini Securtex® Anti-Theft Vacation Backpack

I was searching for a smaller backpack after lugging around the larger one after a cruise. Although I haven't used this one yet, I love the size and my shoulders and back will appreciate the lighter load. I love all baggalini anti-theft bags! I gave it a 4 only because I haven't actually taken it on a test run yet.

I’ve traveled with this backpack all over Asia and Europe. It has given me a sense of security, especially since the money and credit card compartment is on the strap side of the backpack against my back.

This is an amazing bag. Kept me organized and safe on my trip to Italy. Perfect size. Sturdy and stylish too.

I bought this Securtex Anti-Theft Vacation Backpack Color: Charcoal in the past few months. Very disappointed that the straps are breaking down & exposing the steel in them. One side is very sharp & scratches me when I carry the backpack. I love the backpack but disappointed that straps are breaking down... Will not allow me to attach pics to this review!

We are leaving for a River Cruise on the Danube in a few weeks. I purchased the Vacation Backpack on the advice of a friend who has used hers for many trips. I did a trial run in April when we went to NYC for a weekend. Riding the subways and walking around, I felt comfortable with my backpack on my back with my wallet safely secured in the zip pocket on the back and the slice proof straps. I wish it were a little bit bigger!

This is exactly what I was looking for and the size is perfect. It has security zippers with little locks, it has a place for credit cards, cash and coins so my wallet won't be taking up extra space in the main compartment. The wallet feature on the bag rests on your back when you are wearing the bag with both straps. I will feel that all my cash and documents will be secure and safe as I travel through unfamiliar countries and cities. I would highly recommend this bag if you are traveling and looking for a way to keep your essential documents, cash and credit cards secure.

I bought this bag for an upcoming trip, but now carry it as my everyday bag. At first I was put off by the stiffness of the straps, but they become more flexible with use. It's just the right size as a day pack, and not too big as a purse. Love the exterior pockets with locking zippers and the internal organization. Wish it had an internal key ring, but that's a minor inconvenience.

This bag is great! I got me one first then purchased one for my mom. There are so many pockets and its very stylish! I like that it has RFID protection too!

I bought an Apple Green, antitheft, backpack for a trip to Europe this fall. I loved all of the aspects and the fact that I had an outside pocket for my ever present, water bottle. I was using the other pocket for my phone, until, someone not so kindly , stole it while in the Platka in Athens. Maybe it was my stupidity, but I needed easy access to my phone, as I was taking photos on a food tour. If only there was an easily accessible, secure pocket for my phone. Other than that, I loved the pack and the color as well!

Absolutely love this bag. I’ve ordered 2 colors. Love the security - Multiple hooks to protect against pick pockets, credit card read protection, reinforced straps and material to prevent slash and grab, has 2 bottle holders. Many compartments to keep things organized. Best bag ever for travel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my daughter to travel with. We are huge fans of baggallini. Unfortunately the straps have changed and that’s why we had to return it. We tried to purchase pads to make it more comfortable but it became bulky.

I recently purchased this bag from a retailer. I love the size and the compartments in the bag. However, once the bag is packed it no longer lays smoothly on your back. It wants to bulge out at the top. I have spoken to someone else that had this exact problem with the bag. I had to return the bag, unfortunately. Please work on improving this design, as it’s such a great size!

I bought this bag as my "personal carry on item" for cross country and trans-Pacific airline trips. It carries my canteen and glasses in the outer side pockets; tablet, ebook reader, chargers, over-the-ear headphones in the capacious main compartment; cellphone, ID, passport, tipping money and parking meter coins in the RFD "wallet" pocket so I can find them easily instead of scrounging at the bottom of the bag; eye drops, nasal spray, lip gloss, hand cream and hand sanitizer in the securable outer pocket. I love the backpack straps because it keeps my hands free and my possessions on my person when I use a public ladies' room. Rugged exterior material withstands thundershowers. This doubled as my archery repair gear bag at the Pan-American Masters Games. And since it is not too large, it tripled as my purse when we went sightseeing.

I bought this for an upcoming trip to UK so I haven't used it yet to really put it to the test. I like the fact that the "wallet" part of the bag is on the back, so it will sit against the back plus it has the locking zipper. I put my cc in my Apple Wallet so I'll be able to use the phone or watch to make purchases, so I will rarely have to get my cc out anyway. The locking zipper is also on the top of the bag. I suspect to lock the zippers, takes a bit of effort so I won't typically use that, but if I'm going on a crowded train, say, or in any crowded area, I will lock them. This seems like it'll be the perfect "day bag" while touring around. I'll have plenty of room for my raincoat, water bottle, hat and all the other things one tends to collect while touring. It's lightweight and yet has a "substantial" feel to it, lightly padded & keeps it's shape. After I received mine, a friend who recently came back from 3 weeks in Europe, showed me the backpack she used, and it's this exact bag. She said it was perfect.

This is the second bag I have purchased. It’s the perfect size. Best feature is the location of the wallet (next to the back) and with latch features. Just ordered the green for a fresh new color!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This backpack is just the right size to take on vacation. I had been looking for a backpack I could mostly wear one back. This is it. The secure pocket that is against your back make it impossible for a pick pocket to get your money, credit cards and other items you have in there. The large pocket has security hooks that make it difficult foe someone to get into your backpack without you noticing. The 2 bittle holders are great! I did not ha e to check it when I went into museums. I do wish there were more inside pockets. I would say must buy.

This bag would be perfect for me if it has the plastic clear compartment and the expandable key attachment. I guess I missed that when I purchased this bag. I need to either figure out how to attach my keys or return it. I love the hidden wallet features.
