Bali Body Express Self Tanner - Ultra Dark

I would give this no stars if I could because I feel like I was completely ripped off. First off after shaking it up it came out in this greenish tan color almost like baby dodo and it smelled really bad. As I put it on according to the directions it smeared across my screen leaving my skin with a greenish tint or tone. I didn’t know if it was normal so I just continued applying it all over my body even when it said use the leftover residue from the glove on your face(it was almost dry at that point) the color never completely lost the green undertone and this is what made me disappointed because it says extra dark. I didn’t even look like I had put anything on. I waited 12 hours and nothing except on my face any hair or wrinkle was like I had a mustache and made my face appear as if I was 85 years old. The smell only intensified with time and any color that I did see washed off immediately in the shower without using any soap only water. I have been used self tanners for several years because it’s healthier for the skin than a tanning bed but I don’t recommend spending almost forty dollars on this product. I wish that I could get a refund because I have almost a whole bottle left. Oh, I almost forgot that after putting it on my legs and chest began itching horribly and I got all sorts of I don’t know like little bumps almost like if you got eaten up by mosquito bites. Not sure never broke out from any other products.

I love the dark express tan! It’s my holy grail. It’s so hydrating and the colour is fantastic. So when I saw an Ultra Dark I was really excited for a darker option. The first time I used it, the colour payoff was minimal - I thought it was user era. So I used it again and kept it on for longer. Why is my skin still pale? There is no colour pay off. Did you forget an ingredient? So disappointed!

This product is amazing! It blends in very well and was by far my favorite thing I got.

Goes on so easy and no streaks. Gave me a beautiful natural tan and looks like I was in the sun on a 2 week vacation.

I’ve used dozens of fake hands and this is handsdown the worst one it says streak free but that’s all that does is leave horrible streaks. I exfoliated left on for two hours and this is the result.... Very disappointing

Had high hopes for this tan. I left it on overnight and only a slight change in color, meant to be ultra dark. Wouldn't buy again.

Worst tan I have ever used. It dries on the skin very quickly, making it hard to blend out with the mit. I am pale, and the colour of this on my complexion was awful. I left the tan on for 3+ hours. Wouldn’t recommend.

This tan dries down so fast & is very easy to use. It doesn’t over develop on hands/feet which is great & isnt orange, but is a lovely olive brown. It also fades off evenly over the 7 days. Only downside is that it’s not an ‘ultra dark’ even when left on for well over 3 hours, but that could be a ‘me issue’ as I already have a medium skin tone to begin with & those with lighter skin tones may get more of an ultra dark shade. Still a lovely tan nonetheless & one I use for more subtle & natural results, but the ultra dark mousse is the go if you’re needing the darkest tan possible :)

Loved the color of this super airy foam! Absolutely no self-tanner scent, it really does smell nice. This was easy to apply with a mitt and Kabuki/makeup brush on hands, wrists, knees, elbows, ankles, neck. the color guide leans more olive/brown versus bright green like other brands I've tried. I left this on overnight (personal preference) and it washed off easily in the morning. Lovely natural color, no streaking at all. (Shaved and exfoliated 1 day prior to tanning application)

This product is amazing! It goes on so smooth, and to my total surprise, it doesn’t stink!! It actually has a nice floral flow fragrance to it! Once it dries, it’s actually dry!!! It doesn’t come off onto every surface you touch! I was also cleaning the house after application and got water splashed onto my leg, and it didn’t streak, or show any water drops! The colour is great! Looks natural without any orange at all. If you have pale skin, it’s definitely ultra dark, but still natural looking.

I am a fake tan veteran and this is one of the best DARKEST tans you’ll ever get. The only problem is I wish they would do a purple base version, the green does not work for my skin tone so i just generally have a green hue with it, even after it has washed off. It would be a game changer for us cool tone people with a purple base!!

The product is nice. Leaves no smell at all and no strikes. But it should be ultra dark, and it really isn't. The color is light and it is not a deep tan as you would expect from an ultra dark tanning to be.

I had high hopes for this ultra dark foam but unfortunately it is not ultra dark. The shade is closer to medium, I have tried 1hr, 3hrs and last night slept in it overnight to try and get the most ultra dark out of it, same shade. Smells nice and nice consistency, just not ultra dark. I use ultra dark in other brands and am 4-5 shades darker than leaving this express 1hr tan on overnight.

It’s a lovely rich tan colour. The wear on it though is hardly even 3 good days. Super disappointing given it’s quite pricey compared to others. It looks great the first day, not as deep the second, and then actually goes patchy and fades in the usual spots by day 3. I’m doing nothing different to my usual tanning routine and upkeep. It just doesn’t last the way others do unfortunately. I’m almost finished the bottle and it’s happened every use. Don’t think I’ll repurchase, maybe if it’s on special but otherwise that’s a bit of a deal breaker for me.

definitely not "ultra dark" I'm a light brown olive colour naturally and this barely made me 2 shades darker even though I left this tan on for 4 hours. Colour is beautiful it's a very natural olive with 0 orange and does last well!

I’ve used so many Bali body products and they’ve been good, this one is awful. I gave it a few chances, left on for 4+ hours and barely any colour each time. It also went quite green in areas that I sweat (no deodorant or products left on the skin before applying) which I understand can happen but never has with any other tan. Very disappointing
