A: I know this answer may come too late for you, but posting in case it could help anyone else, because I just used Band-Aids for this exact purpose. The flexible fabric are the most breatheable according to my surgeon. While the SkinFlex stay in place best on mobile areas like hands, they're not as breatheable, which is why she told me to use the fabric ones.

Q: Does the Johnson & Johnson Company understand that the consumer might need a size smaller than 3” long? What happened to the 2” long size? Accidents do happen to a smaller area. Do I have to buy the box of assortment to find a few in that size. Really!

I was amazed at how much I enjoyed the BAND-AID® Flexible Fabric Bandage. For once, a bandage didn't itch and feel sweaty on my skin. It was wonderfully soft and still breathed beautifully. I wore it all day long, and it didn't wrinkle or become damp. I enjoyed how it conformed to the movement of my hand, and for the first time in my entire life, I wasn't looking forward to taking off a bandage. Highly recommend.

I usually hate wearing bandaids, but these I can bear! Their fabric base makes it comfortable and easy to place wherever your injury is. Water does loosen the adhesive, though, so I usually have to bring backups.

I like the band-aids but only want the large 1”x3” size. They only come in the assorted box, and I throw the small ones away. It makes the few large ones essentially much more expensive. I’ll find another brand that meets my needs.
