Barbie 12.7" Beach Ken Doll Blond Hair/Blue Eyes Wearing Purple Swimsuit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beach Ken is fun and also floats. Perfect for unlimited Barbie play days this summer. My kids enjoyed playing with this toy in their little pool, and it was also a great opportunity to allow my boy to have its own doll.

My kids love to play pretend and having a beach Ken let's them explore their imaginary play even more by pretending to be lounging at the beach. Barbies have been such an important part of kids childhood for so many years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ken Barbie is a timeless piece to add to our collection. Our kids enjoy the Beach Ken especially in the summer. The great thing about this is he is so versatile. With a couple new outfits he can go from Beach Ken to Business Ken.

Nice detailing on his face as well and can easily fit into other Ken clothing. Wish he came with more than just swim trunks, but can easily add other accessories.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ken doll is very much like us. The arms and legs move great and it’s also water proof . Kids love to take in the pool and play with. I also like the fact that it’s autonomically correct with proper like features. We were hoping that there may be something with it like a surf board or roller skates, or some other feature with it. Over all it gets 5 stars from me and the little one. My boy loves to play with in the pool the most and hours go by.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ken doll is very easy to play with and totally ready for the day at the beach or pool. My son loves swimming with him and using his imagination! Maybe some water toys like a skidoo might be on Ken’s wish list!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Beach Ken Doll with Blonde Hair in exchange for my honest opinion. While I’m a huge fan of the Barbie franchise and all of the fun toys and adventures Barbie, Ken and Friends have, this one was pretty lackluster for us. Ken is manufactured to a high quality for a presumably low retail price, but a significant amount of imagination is required to encourage continuous play. Ken comes with his swim trunks which are great, brightly colored and easy to take on and off to change clothes (additional clothing not included). An additional outfit or accessory to encourage a story line would be preferred. If you’re adding to a collection, Beach Ken could be a worthwhile purchase or additional accessories. Possibly you could bring him to the beach or in the tub for some fun water play. For us, Ken wasn’t the right fit for my 3 year old and got dropped into the toy box after a few minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter had 2 of the same Ken dolls prior to this one (Barbie Fashionista Ken Dolls #204). And surprisingly, this Ken is a smaller size. He only comes with his swim trunks, which was fine since my kid already has clothes for her Kens. One of the main things I appreciated with this doll is the fact that his hair is plastic. If a kid is anything like my own, they love cutting hair. I'm so happy that my daughter didn't have the chance to do it with this Ken doll, though. My daughter is also a huge fan of the Barbie movie. In fact, she didn't really know who Barbie and Ken were prior to watching. As soon as she got him in the mail, she knew he was "the Ken." As of right now, this Ken doll is the only male among all her Barbies, so he plays a lot of roles. Beach Ken, Cop Ken, Roller Skating Ken, Husband Ken, Officer Ken, Chef Ken, you can name a few jobs and he's probably had it. To my point.. this Ken doll seems to be the perfect size for his line of clothes. The prior Ken dolls that we have never fit into any of the Ken outfits, but luckily, this Ken was able to fit in them all. I'm not sure why the other Ken dolls are different sizes, but they are. Leading up to my next point, this Ken doll is durable. He has survived being thrown out of our daughter's electric car, beauty salon makeovers, and his shorts haven't been washed, but still look new. Overall, we really enjoyed getting the opportunity to add this Ken to our daughter's collection and am so happy that we don't foresee a future where he'll have to be replaced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a simple. The color of the shorts are eye catching. However, the hair is rough to texture. The head movement is limited and hard to move around. It’s okay Ken. It has nothing special or that makes you want run and get it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has become a pool time staple for my son. He loves taking Ken on adventures. I love that the hair is plastic so it doesn’t get messed up by water, and the swim trunks dry easily. The swim trunks are colorful and pretty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came and my 2 grandchildren “fought” over whose it was. They both wanted Ken to be theirs! Needless to say, Ken ended up in the tub, swimming away with Barbie and Christie!! Both took turns playing and I think I’ll need to go out and by another.

Ken’s head is of great quality, whereas his body feels like it could fall apart if it were played with in a rough manner (e.g., his legs might detach).

The cute little shorts are adorable, the movement is so fun, and the durability is amazing. My boys absolutely love it. The shorts are super cool too, they almost look holographic because of the design. Great toy.

She also enjoyed the fact that the head is soft like the Barbie dolls, but that his hair was not soft and stayed dried better when she played with him in water.
