Barbie "Brooklyn" Roberts Ice Skating Playset

I bought this because it was so cheap below normal. Here again she looked alot bigger than the normal Barbies

My daughter is three and is in her second season of figure skating! This is a great holiday gift and addition to her Chelsea skating doll!

This set is very cute, I bought as a gift but I'm sure she's going to love it, the only thing is the blue leggings, they definitely don't make them the same.

Mattel too cheap! to provide tights, the legs are painted blue. I wasn't expecting that! Accessories are cute, but definitely not worth the price.

My two girls just love the Dreamtopia series dolls. Durable and easy to clean when brought out the beach or park. Review is for the previous doll set as this set did not ship or was lost during transit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off an adult had to open my daughter had a hard time with the plastic that held the archways. She played with the dolls but really did not use the two little extras (cup and cone)She really like the Big sister little sister combo.

They love ice skating and are at different ice skating levels so they loved how one doll had real skates and one had the item you can hold on to on the ice to help you skate: just like the two of them!! They enjoyed the many pieces the set came with and had another set so they could extend the play. I was able to explain to them a bit more about ice skating which was also nice way to bond with them over the toy. All in all they really loved it!

She likes to pretend and has an amazing imagination coming up with different stories when she plays! The ice skating Barbie with the little Girl is possibly one of her favorites! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is so cute! I love that it includes the little skate helper for the child size doll. The Barbie doll has lovely braided hair. I think this is the first doll I’ve seen with this style and it’s very nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter really liked the doll overall but the hat does not stay on if you take the swift tacks out and the dress is hard to get off to change the outfit. Other than that it was like most other dolls, she had fun playing with it and was excited that the little girl came with it too. Could have done without the bench scene, the dolls don’t sit in it well and it just falls over.

My daughter loves Barbies. Both Barbies having ice skates that stayed on well were great, my daughter loves her new Barbie and she’s dressed so stylish.

When I showed my daughter the Life In The City Barbie ice skating doll, she quickly grabbed the package and said: “This is so cool! I want to go ice skating with mommy!” My daughter was very drawn to the little girl with ice skates and began playing with her first. After several minutes of playing with the small child, my daughter starts playing with both dolls by simulating Barbie falling several times while the young child comes to her aid! Upon looking at the accessories, she was a bit confused on why the safety cone was included. In addition, she asked about an ice pond for the two dolls to skate. My daughter had trouble getting Barbie to stand while wearing the ice skates. Despite the few issues, this really did not dampen the play time with Barbie doll set. Overall, my daughter enjoyed the Life I The City Barbie ice skate doll set. Pros: The young child doll is really a plus for this set. Cons: Could use a foldable vinyl mat to simulate an ice pond. Lack of accessories such as winter coats for the dolls.

She has been excited to show her friends the little ice skater assistant for the little girl. We like the painted on purple tights/leggings, but some may wish that they could have a skin color instead of always purple.

Clothing includes vibrant colors and the hat on the woman is very unique and secured in place. Clothes are full of textures; knit, silky, and velvety. Also nice to have a large accessory, the bench is a nice touch! The other smaller accessories seem random and are somewhat out of place and were easily lost. Made my 4 year old very happy and she loved the little girl doll!

They also really like that the blades on the ice skates can be removed so that Barbie just has regular shoes on. The accessories are perfect too; the ice skating trainer, bench, and snack have inspired lots of play!
