Bought This For My Granddaughter For Christmas. For One Reason, To Show Her that a Girl Can Do Anything In Life If She Puts Her Mind to it. Outstanding Quality & Value. A++++++++++++++++++++

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barbie Career of the Year You Can Be Anything is a collection of 4 Barbie dolls with careers in sports: 1) Coach, 2) General Manager, 3) Referee and 4) Sports Reporter. Each doll represents a different race and/or ethnicity. In play the children did not readily identify/recognize the diversity outside of the African American doll skintone and Asian/Pacific Islander doll's slanted eyes. Love dolls came in different shapes, sizes and skintones. Given the body variations the clothes do not mix and match. All hair texture were the same long straight silky hair, only the African American doll had curled ends. My nieces are African-American they enjoyed the variety, however, they wished the hair was "natural" read had more texture, curl, body, kink (lol) so they could braid the hair better. All Barbies come with a full head of hair. The advantage to the bend arms were that they can hooked their arms together. They can fit doll stands for curvy Barbie and Ken doll use around leg not waist since these dolls can't stand alone. Overall a great doll collection for any child. They enjoyed playing with the dolls together in their career roles. They did find it funny that 3 of the dolls were skinny and only one was curvy. We had several good conversations about stereotypes and diversity of body shapes and sizes as they relate to people of different race and/or ethinicity.

The clothing on the dolls is beautiful and fits with each of their careers. They also love that there is a doll of color included. The accessories are a hit. They like that these dolls have a career in sports. And they can take turns playing those roles with their dolls. Great for my daughters because they already like going with their Dad to pro football games and seeing real women on the field doing these careers. How awesome is this! Another great set of dolls from the best, Mattel. Highly recommended. I would be interested in other career doll sets of Barbie.

This set comes with the coach, general manager, referee, and sports reporter all with unique accessories and offering major girl power for traditional male dominated careers. We absolutely love the female referee who looks like a real woman. Amazing quality and playability!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We added these ladies to our collection and played with a bunch or others so we would have a full team. She enjoyed playing with them for a while but didn’t really understand why they needed media or a owner/manager as she is still tad young to understand how a sports team works besides playing a fair game, fans, and teamwork. It was fun to get four at once she said but thought they should come with more stuff. We had a soccer ball so she was ok playing for a while with that added into the mix but left them to go be doctors and patients with her other Barbie dolls.

It comes with a coach, general manager, sports reporter and referee. Each doll comes with fun accessories to complement their career—coach has a clipboard with plays on it and a megaphone, referee has a whistle and flag, general manager has a cell phone and lanyard badge, and sports reporter has a microphone and notebook. The dolls are very diverse—all different skin tones, hair colors, body shapes, and ethnicities—which is refreshing. My girls have enjoyed this set very much and has added a lot to their imaginative play. I would highly recommend!

The Barbie's are a beautiful representation of various careers along with fun accessories to compliment each dolls. Packaging was easy to open. Dolls were stimulating for my granddaughters to play with. Each dolls outfit was well made and easy to remove by little hands.

The dolls are made well. My daughters are 3, 5, and 8. They all enjoyed playing with the dolls and creating scenarios for them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loved receiving these Barbie’s, and I appreciated the range of sizes and skin colors in these career Barbie’s - in careers that would typically be male focused. Each Barbie came with a couple accessories that one would typically use in that job. The Barbie’s were varying sizes and heights, so her typical Barbie clothes won’t work for some of them, and a couple of them had very stiff leg joints and were hard to make sit down, but they were good otherwise. These were a great addition to her collection

I do plan to buy her 2 female mattel barbie soccer players so I can teach her what a coach, referee, sports reporter and a manager actually do. They’re dressed realistically for their jobs and she liked the accessories they came with. Definitely 5 stars and super cute.

Each doll has different features in shape and height. My girls loved how different each doll was. I love that the dolls show different careers that girls could be when they grow up.

This set includes four working class women in the work attire. Their faces and hair so pretty. My little ones love barbie dollls. They are gonna enjoy changing their outfits over and ovet on these dolls. The clothes styles are nice.

Each one has a unique height, size, and coloring and each one depicts skilled and confident women in sports careers. Even the packaging is amazing! On the back of the box, along with pictures of each doll, there is a description of the depicted career and the attributes and skills that would do well in each job. It encourages girls to look at their own strengths and see themselves in that career role. In addition to inspiring girls to consider these career options, these dolls have some great outfits and accessories that work well for the jobs that they have. The coach has a pink and white shorts and jacket set, white sneakers, a pink megaphone, and a clipboard that diagrams movements of athletes on the field that can be attached easily to her hand. The referee has black leggings, a black and white striped shirt, black sneakers, a headset, a whistle, and a yellow flag that she can hold in her hand. The sports reporter has a professional-looking purple dress, black heels with an ankle strap, a microphone that can be held in her hand, and a notebook (this is the only handheld accessory in this set that cannot be easily held by Barbie’s hands). The general manager has my favorite outfit. She is wearing a sharp blue with white pinstriped suit with a white camisole, a necklace, a staff badge on a lanyard, a cell phone that she can hold in her hand, and a pair of black ankle boots that look both stylish and practical. The only thing the outfits are missing are pockets.

Not o my is the packaging cute and easy to open but these dolls have different ethnicities, body types, etc. Each doll has accessories, clothes and shoes that match their respective profession. Not only that, but each doll has the appropriate physique such as muscle in the legs. That was a cool detail. What a fun idea to have a career of the year and make dolls that coordinate in a set to celebrate that women really can do anything. I did unfortunately have to take off a star on the rating because I must say the hair left something to be desired with the styling and to be honest some of the accessories were boring.

As a mom I love that they came in all shapes, sizes and colors- I want my children exposed to all different types of people and also to know not everyone is the same. Another plus side for me was that they had all different careers in the sports industry, showing that women can be and do anything. As for my daughter she really did love them, the outfits, the accessories that came with them and their hair which is extremely soft. She spent most of her time driving them around in her doll car, doing their hair and using the microphone accessory that came with them. These barbies were definitely winners for both of us!
